rude staff. if I owed a restaurant I would try & seat my customers regardless of how busy it is. I’d say “hey give us a few minutes we’ll figure something out” My fiancé and I tried eating here twice and the same women at the door literally looked at us and said “yeahhh no” then “good luck” because we didn’t have reservations. Like what? this isn’t some five star restaurant. don’t waste your money people. plenty of better sushi places in Bergen county that will go out of their to make you feel welcome.

Noisy & expensive. The eel roll was served cold. If you can't service the sushi correctly don't offer it. Don't make rolls ahead of time to save time at the customer's experience, we are paying top dollar for your food experience.

I was extremely disappointed with my meal today. I ordered online and verified it by phone. I got to the restaurant and they didn’t have the order. They took the order there. Simple Lo Mein, spareribs on the bone, scallion pancakes and an egg roll. The Lo Mein was tasteless, the ribs were boneless and like leather. The pancakes were only ok and the same for the egg roll. I always considered Hanami a very good restaurant. What happened! So sad…

We did take out, the person handling the process was basically like a robot! How difficult is to exhibit some degree of social grace! The post office has more manners! Probably not going back very expensive for what we purchased! Covid is over people have to stop using that as an excuse to gouge customers!
