I love going there for breakfast! A bolon and coffee and you are set till dinner. Im 170lbs very active and this filled me up in a way nothing else can. Food is not heavily salted or greasy.

We liked the food but the service is terrible and the tip is included which is unfair. The last time we went there was hair in the food and there was no apology whatsoever..
The quaquer is delicious like mom's but for the rest unfortunately they have to dedicate themselves to something else, the rancid seafood, the very bad bolon with inedible salt and too much seasoning, I would never go back.

We order pan de almidón, but it was overly salty and dissapointing, especially after a 30 minute wait. Despite being unhappy with the food and service, they automatically added a 20% tip to the check. I usually tip 20% for good service, but this experience fell short. When I requested to adjust the tip, the staff responded with a bad attitude and became confrontational. Unfortunately, I won't be giving this place another chance.

Good bollo, good bolon. The coffee was very good and traditional. The space was very clean and the lady was very nice. I would have rated 5, but The encebollado needs work it is a 3 out of 5. I recommend trying to find other recipes for it. Other than that it was a good experience.

Holy smokes so far, the best Enceballdo soup I have had in NJ/NY area. Tostones were also a hit. If you read my reviews, you know I'm a well traveled Individual born in JC NJ. Married to a bodiqua from Brooklyn. So I know latin food very well. NEGATIVE ...The only thing I don't like is adding the tip on the total bill. This is a mom and pop shop. With the Daughter doing the service. Entire check goes to family so even if loser customer doesnt leave tip server still gets paid. This really bothers me when places do this. They will lose business because of this. Owner I would rethink your tip policy.
