Hadn't been to Canal House in a while because of Covid. Glad they're still there and have new items on menu!We enjoyed our meal and drinks at a cozy booth near the bar .I had the parpadelle pasta with mushrooms and spicy red sauce. My son had the "chicken your way" with peppers,olives and a nice brown sauce. Came with perfectly cooked potatoes.For dessert, because I wasn't driving, I had the WinterMartini which was delicious! My son had cheese cake . Good coffee too.Nice music being performed. Not overly loud.Lighting in dining room could be a bit lower for ambiance.Would definitely recommend!

Nice local place with a good-sized bar and plenty of televisions to keep track of sports. Food is good but not great. There is a more traditional dining area to your right when you enter and the bar dining is to your left. Live music on weekends.

If I could rate this with zero stars or negative stars, I would. I will never ever support a business that doesn’t pay people who work for them. This establishment may have good, great or mediocre food, service or bartenders but regardless of any of that, they have hired bands, musicians to entertain their customers and then NOT paid them! They have made multiple random excuses for not paying for services rendered in an attempt to justify their actions and fail to acknowledge that there is NO reason to not pay a musician or musicians who take time from their family, schedules to lug their equipment (this place doesn’t have any provided), set up and then perform for hours! This place is a disgrace and I suggest you all find somewhere else more deserving of your patronage.

The bartender, Brianne could not have been more attentive and professional. She was definitely multitasking and never made anyone wait. Food was served hot, actually burned lip on the calamari. Perfect.

Place is usually closed when hours specify different. Change the networkly publicized mantra for hours of operation. Lot of known mentioned lip service. Very disturbing.
