Good for what it is and a good deal with a local flavor coupon. Many choices that were generally good, including the sushi and stir fry stations. Staff seemed friendly. Overall met reasonable expectations.

This is my 2nd review of the Fortune Buffet. It used to be a solid 3 stars... since the big makeover the food quality has gone downhill. I stopped in for lunch and - first off - they make you pay before you eat. The hostess was a bit condescending with me- she said "We pay before we eat." I said, "Oh, we pay? Are you going to split the bill with me?" I don't think she appreciated my humor. Still... I don't like paying before I eat at Golden Coral, and I think I like it even less at a locally un-franchised place. Waiter was lethargic and decidedly unwilling to refill my drink. Ever. I refilled it myself twice. He watched me do it. Dim sum and eggrolls were room temperature and bland. Its a shame that this place has gone downhill after the make-over. They should have left well-enough alone.

Well, my husband, who loves Chinese buffets, talked me into returning since the renovation. I have to say, compared to any other Chinese buffet I've been to, it's excellent. The place is now very clean, the food stations are kept clean, there is attention to the food staying fresh, and there are different selections .....not always the same 10 things as before. I can now finally get full and enjoy the food there. Congratulations on the excellent renovation! Come and try it again, or for the first time! You won't be disappointed! The fruit bar also is awesome!

Hubby and I stopped in by chance on New Year's Day. I stopped there many years ago to eat and it was okay. So we went in and it was totally renovated. Great price, $10 per person. Have to say it was very very clean and the food was wonderful. Lo mein, hot and sour soup, and other Chinese favorites we're well-prepared and tasty. I would definitely go there again

Disgusting food, terrible service and way over priced. We showed up an hour an half before closing time and we had a very selected choice of food, i guess it was as what they had left over. Their ice cream machine wasn't working and when I complained they gave me a POS frozen fudge popsicle that tasted like it was dug out of the button of the freezer.

Best bar in town

First of all if we could give negative stars this place would get a -5. The price was $32 for 2 people which I would gladly pay for good food however, this place is absolutely horrible! The food is way less than subpar and the food off the buffet is barely warm. If you have a seafood allergy do yourself a favor and DO NOT eat here. There is so much cross contamination of seafood mixed up in other food that it's not supposed to be instead of separated from other foods like most other places. My wife literally just watched a waitress clean off the buffet counters and wiped the food into her hand and threw it back into the container of food on the buffet! When we walked in and seen only a few people in here it should have sent up some red flags but we figured we would give it a shot anyway.....very bad choice and will never return. Heed the warning! Stay away, stay far away from here.

A cool little place. A hidden gem. Best part, it is close to work for gatherings of coworkers to commiserate.

Lots of choices, sushi, hibachi and more. Not bad for the price, but you get what you pay for.

I was hoping to speak with someone about booking a stand-up comedy show sometime. I headline all over America so if you're interested in some alternative, cheap entertainment guaranteed to keep patrons buying drinks and food, I'd love to work out the details with you. Basically, if you've ever had enough room for karaoke, a live DJ, or even trivia night- you have enough room for stand-up comedy. I also have promotional material ready, with all of your information ready to insert whenever it's worked out. Looking forward to hearing back from you. To see all my upcoming dates, go to

Everything was cold or stale. Price is good but they really need to work on their quality. Yikes

The restaurant was closed for renovations, this was our first time back since it re-opened. The restaurant is lovely inside, however the cost went up and the quality of the buffet went down. Most of the food was dried out (as if it were reheated from previous days), and it wasn't hot, in fact it wasn't even warm. The only hot food was what they made at the hibachi grill, and it was good, therefore I am giving 3 stars. Was disappointed, had been looking forward to the re-opening.
