I work down in that area and came in and bought cookies for me and my co-workers and I bought my husband a cinnamon bun. Both these items were tremendous! And the owners were so friendly.

Hopkins Baking Company is a pastry, cookie, and dessert destination for take out located in the Bishop Supermarket shopping center on Route 22 East. The bakery is small and not a sit-down type of place, with just a small outdoor table. The smell of fresh baked cinnamon buns fills the air. Everything is absolutely delicious and fantastic, with a concentrated selection of amazing organic treats.
Highlights include the best cinnamon rolls and buns ever had, described as huge and scrumptious. The experimental focaccia is a flavor beast with a soft fluffy inside, sesame seeds, and salt flakes, called a must-have on any winter day. Cookies are truly delicious, including huge, soft oatmeal raisin cookies that are not crumbly. The oatmeal raisin summer sandwich with creamed cheese frosting is probably the best bakery item this year. Other offerings include a delicious pumpkin scone with a nice balance of cinnamon and pumpkin, a fantastic fruit galette du jour, and items like Chocolate cake, strawberry cake, banana cake, cupcakes, and scones. They made a wedding spectacular with an assortment of desserts that were the highlight of the event.
The amazing staff and owner are so positive, friendly, and customer service focused, providing excellent and consistent communication. There is occasionally free coffee on Fridays. You will not be disappointed and will absolutely be back soon. It is a delight to visit, and a place you want to be around a long, long time for your next family, friend, or office get-together.
