Took the food to go. 85 percent bread. Will never go again. A large rib with just bread? Little rib. They can keep it.

First time eating there. Went at night while in the area, been wanting to try it out. Greeted by a nice woman and Rich at the counter. Welcoming demeanor and a smile. I decided to try the 3 meat platter as it would give me a nice sampling of their meats.RIBS -Cooked perfectly, nice smoke line visible, you can smell the BBQ in the meat. First pull with my hand, fell off the bone, easy pulled apart, and well covered with the sweet sauce. Great taste and texture, melt in your mouth ,and cooked to perfection.SLICED BRISKET- Nice size portion, 4 slices, thickness was normal, excellent pulling fell right apart with very little pressure. Taste was sweet, yet Smokey and blended well. Used a fork to cut into each piece. Another great brisket.PULLED PORK - A tad bit dry, no wet sauces on it as I wanted to sample each of the three sauces they had out for your taking. Pulled apart east, nice Smokey flavoring, dipped into each sauce, my favorite was the sweet, each sauce gives a bit of different flavors, I felt the sweet brought out more smoke Overall the pork was not bad. Next time, I'll have them mix in the sweet sauce.MAC N CHEESE- Definitely not home made, but I have had similar taste and texture at ither well inown bvq joints, not going to knock that, but if you want to stand out, make your own, make it stand out.COLE SLAW- Same sentiments at the macNcheese.FINAL THOUGHTS- over all 4 stars- I felt the brisket, and and ribs were cooked, smoked to typical BBQ quality and great flavor, and smokiness. The pulled pork could have been another scoop, but I understand it's portioned to most likely standards per order. Also, it needed to be a bit more wet and not dry. Overall, I will be back again and try something else next time.Parking: Plaze single spotsKid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere, great smells, tv,Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, ramp but no auto-door operation

Gret barbecue in Whiting. Still undiscovered by the hordes, this location deserves more love.

First time dining here. I got the pulled pork sandwich combo. The pork was tender and delicious and I love the dickeys original sauce. The staff was very friendly and helpful and offered samples on things we weren’t sure on trying. The sides were delicious. We will definitely be back again!

So today I met my daughter whom works in Whiting. She took me to Dickey’s. I wasn’t really hungry and was unsure what if anything I would get, never have I been there. That was until I saw that had FRIED OKRA as a side. It’s not very often you see that around and if you do it’s at a Golden Coral etc. So I knew right away what I was getting, a large order of fried okra. Let me tell you THE BEST, from the crunch of the coating and the crunch of the perfectly cooked okra was the best. As an Orka lover this heaven. Will be back and will be talking about this Okra.

Not bad but could be better the brisket and chicken was good and so was the coleslaw. The green beans, potato casserole, baked beans, and ribs were meh. The Texas toast was a roll. Probably won't go back. If your desperate for bbq then maybe otherwise I would

Food was delicious. Staff was extremely friendly and patient with us. We had never been here before and had no clue what to order. The spicy BBQ sauce has a great kick, but the sweet BBQ was my favorite. Would definitely
