Pretty good place for breakfast. Food was really good, service was great, and prices reasonable. Would return again. They have all the breakfast basics… Pancakes, waffles, french toast, omelets, eggs, etc etc.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

Service was great, food was not. We order 3 of the house specials, pancakes, eggs and sausage/bacon. All the food was super dry and unseasoned, it was as if they cooked everything in advanced. If you want blueberry pancakes they just toss the blueberries on top, stems and all. The only item not over cooked were the eggs, which were under done and had to be sent back. We've been wanting to try here for years, it was really disappointing. There are much better places to go.

Excellent Omelets- very filling. Very clean and great service! We stay at the Adventurer, and will eat here at least one time during vacation.

Had an excellent long weekend in Wildwood Crest! This hotel is beautiful, clean and the perfect location to the beach/boardwalk. All employees were very very nice! They even still had their beautiful heated pool open which is a hard find over Columbus Day Weekend! We were just minutes from the beach and had a wonderful view of the ocean from our balcony. The room was very large and the kitchenette was well stocked. My only complaint is that they have a regular coffee pot vs. a Keurig and that is just me being picky! I read complaints about the elevator being slow, but we had no trouble with that! This is definitely a great location to stay at!

Quick, down-home quality breakfast with friendly service. Price consistent with quality. Coffee refills included.

This is our first stay at the adventurer & definitely not our last. Can’t beat the beautiful view from the balconies. Clean, spacious rooms. Friendly staff, heated pool and perfect location.

We have stayed here 4 times over a 10-12 year period. We always liked the location both to the beach and boardwalk. This last stay was enjoyable however the hotel is getting old and is needing some updating. Our room had a slight damp smell to it however the room was spacious and clean. I didn’t bother eating in the restaurant this time our last stay we tired it and really didn’t care for it it was average may have improved? The hotel has 2 very slow elevators and one was down which made it harder to move about. To the hotels defense they did offer free bag service on check in and check out. Bottom line the heated pool, location to beach and boardwalk are super positive. The hotel is at the end of the boardwalk which we like because its not noisy. Over all cleanliness was good. My room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Parking is tight but I always found a spot.

We went with the family to have breakfast and it was good. The pancakes with the fresh fruits were delicious. So was the omelets.

We had brunch there the 1st day and the food and the service were excellent! We decided to try something different our 2nd day and ate at a fancier restaurant on the other side of the island. Well today we were back at the Adventurer because the food was so much better and the people were so much nicer. We'll definitely be back!

I am writing this review to address the things other people complain about. All hotels in the Wildwood Crest have tight parking spaces and limited parking. They were built before SUVs. You need to keep this in mind when booking at any hotel in the crest. This hotel does have an underground garage that fit our full size SUV, which is probably better than most of the other hotels in the crest. The maid service is limited because of COVID but it can be requested AT ANY TIME. They literally give you a sheet to fill in each day to request any items/services you need. Not sure why people complain about a lack of maid service when they can get it AT ANY TIME if it is requested. The elevators are slow because you staying in a FULL HOTEL with lots of people in the summertime. I never know what people expect the hotel to do about that. 3rd year staying at this hotel, no problems. This was the first time we used the pool and it was great! Very warm and there is a second sun deck above the pool with additional seating. Location is great; can walk to locations in the crest and to the boardwalk. Our room showed some wear and tear but overall was clean and spacious, with a private balcony where you are not looking at your neighbors next door. The biggest benefit of staying in Wildwood Crest was the space. We paid more in Ocean City Maryland for a hotel room without a kitchenette or sofa bed.

We've been staying here for as long as we've been going to Wildwood. Love the fact that you can park your car and not need it the whole time you are there. Everything is in reasonable walking distance. Great location. Only issue was internet access wasn't great. Never knew if you could get a connection. Had 1st floor room and it was large and clean. Limited maid services, but we put a note out for what we needed and it was filled. They are doing a good job working around covid.

We recently spent seven nights at the Adventurer. I’ll list for you the pros and cons of our stay there: PROS: The location is good. The hotel is right at the start of the Boardwalk in Wildwood Crest. The pool was clean. There is a restaurant in the hotel open for breakfast and lunch. The employees at the front desk were courteous. CONS: Upon our arrival they told me there was a $37 extra charge for each room over what my invoice stated because we requested rooms on the same floor. I complained and told them I was never informed of this. They said it was new this year but because I was not told they would waive it. Ridiculous! The beds were awful! I’ve stayed in many hotels and never saw a set up like this! There were no FITTED sheets on the bed only a flat one that bunched up every time you moved.Crazy! The comforters on the bed were so heavy that you could barely move. They felt like you had a weighted blanket of some sort on your bed. We took them off! The pillows were covered in plastic so every time you moved they were hard and crunchy! There was a big stain on one of the sheets that turned me right off. I got little sleep that week The bathroom is set up as soon as you walk in the door on the left in the bedroom. If anyone is sleeping on the pull out sofa in the living room/kitchenette area they have to constantly walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. Terrible setup! Be prepared to wait a while for your elevator. Often times it was quicker to go up the stairs. I know this is common at the hotels in Wildwood but the parking spaces are so narrow if you have a bigger car good luck! You only get one parking space per room so if your older child drives down there is no place for him or her to park. Just know that. This is the third time we’ve stayed here and will be the last. And the biggest con were the bed! What on earth are they thinking? The flat sheet laying over the mattress is hysterical… I came home with a backache! I booked two rooms and brought the family down. I paid somewhere around $5000 for the two rooms. For that price I expected more. I guess you have to weigh your pros and cons and what is important to you. We love the beach and the boardwalk in Wildwood crest but in the future this hotel is in no.
