I got a Philly steak hoagie with onions and mushrooms, the meat was cold, the onions and mushrooms weren't cooked with the steak or barely cooked at all. The fries were amazing.

Food is great, I look forward to their steamers with bread for dipping all year long! Low key, casual place with an indoor and open air bar. Everyone who works there I've come across is very nice!

In the past Crest Tavern was great now HORRIBLE. I went there and day was nice but then a nasty waitress. I ordered a selzer with lemon and no ice. She served me a selzer with ice. Ok people make mistakes but she argued with me when I told her I ordered no ice. She actually said no you didn't. When my daughter said yes she did she made a nasty face. She went away with an attitude and gave me the selzer with no ice. Then her unpleasant attitude continued throughout service. If it wasn't so busy I would of called a manager. The food was subpar. We ordered cheese steaks kind of overcooked not very good. But the problem was her nasty attitude. People come to eat and if you are waitress it is your job to be courteous. I am not s tourist. I live here and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Try Owens nice people, courteous waitresses and great dinner specials every night
Good food at a reasonable price. Service is always good. Atmosphere is that of a busy bar serving bar food.

This is not our old tavern, the woman at the front acts like she is guarding a bank, the first time it was summer time busy, this time empty and still piss poor attitude.

Disappointed to say the least. We have have been going to the tavern since 1993. Timmy and Lisa built a fantastic business, however the last few times we have gone the new hostess was rude and condescending. Tonight the 3 of us went to for dinner and couldn't even get through the door, the hostess was guarding it like it was her private residence and told us there were no tables, when there were 2 clearly in the bar area. It is disappointing that what used to be a regular off-season spot for us will not be a stop for us any longer.
We are Crest residents for over 15 years. The years have not been kind to Crest tavern. The hostess is rude and miserable since she now has expanded duties of clearing tables. Multiple times she has been rude to us. We initially let it go as anyone can have a bad day, today was too much. We were reprimanded like elementary students. Time to retire Lady.

My family lived in the wildwoods for 50 years, they have judgemental shoobies running this place,, they’ll tell you can’t be seated when they have seats available, and the hostess is just downright rude. Needs a serious reality check,, if you’re that mad in life quit. No reason at all to be that miserable and unwelcoming
