George's Place Wildwood Crest

George 's Place is a Greek, cash - only, BYOB on the bay in Wildwood Crest. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner (closed 3-5 PM daily.) Dinner reservations are a must in season and they are on Open Table. They have 2 very small dining areas - 1 outdoor deck overlooking the bay. They do not have a parking lot, and street parking is extremely difficult during high season.
Although pricey, the food and service are very good here. For dinner, we always start off with the Greek Picnic at $20 per head. The whole table must participate in this appetizer, which is a great sampling of many Greek staples. You may want to split a meal afterwards because it's very filling.

Had the Branzino. It was amazing. The hostess and wait staff were incredibly kind and hospitable.

Had 2 people last minute cancel due to illness, hostess was a bit rude but the rest of staff was amazing! Food was great, staff was great too!

George's is a relatively small establishment, with both inside and outside seating. They are also a BYOB and cash only. I would suggest making a reservation. We had a nice table outside and enjoyed watching the sunset. Service was professional and made sure we had everything we needed. Our entrees included swordfish with and a shrimp dish. The swordfish came with garbanzo beans. The shrimp came in tomato type broth, spinach, olives and feta cheese. The side was pita bread triangles for dipping in the broth. Each entree includes a salad. We also ordered an appetizer, that was some type of cheesy bread, with a taziki and feta topping. All the portion sizes were generous. Our dinner without tax was approximately $85. We have eaten at George's a few times, and have always been satisfied. Try to tine your reservation, so you can catch the sunset.

Cat is the best waitress we had the whole time we have been here. Shes fantastic. Food was great very very fresh and satisfying.

The food was good, but patrons should be told in advance that it’s street parking only and cash only. I shouldn’t be informed cash only when the check comes. A simple sign on the door or the server telling you in beginning of meal would be more appropriate.

We had a wonderful time at George's. The freshest fish and the best lemon potatoes. Our server Marcel was experienced, professional and charming. We sat outdoors where we had a water view and watched the boats go by. It was overcast so wasn't able to see the sunset. All 4 in our party loved our large whole red snapper, large whole branzino, salmon and lamb and it was nice of them to offer a complimentary Greek salad or Caesar which was ample and delicious. The Caesar included the best crispy Brussel sprouts on the side. We had another engagement right after dinner so we weren't able to try dessert. Would not hesitate to return.

George's Place is my favorite lunch spot in Wildwood. They serve breakfast and dinner, too. The turkey and brie sandwich is amazing! All of the menu items are very fresh and healthy. Plenty of variety to please everyone in your group. And I love that the lunches come with a side salad. The outdoor seating is the best. I love the view of the water. It is such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We come here every year when we visit Wildwood.

We had a wonderful lunch at George’s Place in Wildwood Crest yesterday and will definitely be back! It was a bit cold outside, but they provided blankets which was such a nice touch. We look forward to an even better experience when the weather is warmer.

Everything about George's is perfection. The food is out of this world, attention to detail second to none and service is outstanding!! We love George's!

This was our first time eating at George's Place in the Wildwood Crest. Like all of the other Kara restaurant's this was amazing! Food and service are always wonderful.

Chicken special was very good. My partners chicken Santorini was equally as good. The accompanying salads, one Greek and one Caesar, were delightful. Service top notch. Recommend a visit if in area.
