The food here is horrible ?. Ordered Rib dinner with Macaroni and cheese and Cabbage the only thing that taste ok was the Cabbage and that wasn't good. They never don't ever have to worry about a return visit from me. The restaurant it self needs to be torn down what a mess. Dueces yall close your joint down serving tough ribs they sure didn't fall off the bone. Yuk.

The service very nice. They should have me barbecue the ribs. The ribs had a tough top layer as if they were boiled then put on the grill. The barbecue sauce is thin. The Mac and cheese was great. The blacked peas were ok. I won't be going back. It took them a long time for my order, and it wasn't freshly cooked.The place should be called the"Mac and Cheese Ranch"

Fresh seafood is fine, prices are fair. Their crabcakes are pretty good, pricey, but it's all crab meat.We're they failed miserably in my book is the gumbo. It's 95% imitation crab meat, and it shows. You get the occasional cut shell peice of snow crab, but I'm sure that's just for "authenticity". Not spicy at all so good for people who don't like spice. All In all, I'll continue coming for the fresh/ raw seafood. Can't get blue claws anywhere.

Mitch and his wife are amazing! Food aside I would come here for their hospitality and service! But don’t let it distract you from how good the food is! I got the steam sampler and the size for the price is so worth it! I highly recommend this place in either location (currently dining at the one near Gloucester premium outlet mall). Definitely 20/10!

I spent $48 on the WORST FOOD THAT I'VE EVER HAD...I had the Whiting Platter, and my Fiancee had the jumbo lump crab platter... The food tasted old ... None of the food was seasoned ... When I had to guess as to whether the place was opened or closed ,i knew that food was going to be an ENORMOUS DISAPPOINTMENT....It should be a CRIME for serving such trash .... it was so bad that I threw the food in the trash instead of giving it to a HOMELESS PERSON... if you desire less than run of the mill food, then Big Daddy's Seafood is the place for you... If you aren't going to take PRIDE in Preparing , Selling, and Serving a Good Product, DO SOCIETY A FAVOR BY EITHER SELLING THE BUSINESS STOP COOKING... IF YOU KNOW BETTER ,YOU WOULD DO BETTER

If you’re looking for some good ribs, stop on over here. I had a rib sandwich the other day with no sauce because I really wanted to get the smokiness of the ribs, and I was very pleased with the flavor and their tenderness. It was a good price and the ribs were meeting. I will definitely be back!!!

I went to Big Daddy’s to get seafood. I ordered an Alaskan Snow Combo that comes with a 1/2 lb of Shrimp, potatoes corn, and broccoli ($41) with an additional order of Mussels (menu said $13 was charged $15). So with tax I end up paying $59 and some change. When I asked about the $2 difference was told “it must be a typo.” Ok. Wait was not long for seafood platters; standard 20-25 mins. When I arrived home, I opened my combo and realized they forgot the shrimp. I immediately called and spoke with Daniella, who was very apologetic and accommodating which was totally awesome! Food was seasoned well, my only gripe would be the amount of broccoli I was given. It was more like the end of a bag of frozen broccoli than actual whole broccoli crowns. Nonetheless, I would give this place a 6/10.

This review is for the ribs.Yesterday I got a full rack of ribs and order of fried calamari. Came out to $46. I was so excited to try this place. I was so disappointed when I got home and tried the ribs. They were so dried out, over smoked and tough we were unable to eat them. The sauce was overpowered by vinegar(maybe just my preference)EDIT: Added a photo of the receipt. Still can't believe they would serve someone totally unedible ribs. Hope more people see this review and steer clear of this place.
