I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it was a major disappointment. The prices are extremely high for what you actually get. Portion sizes are shockingly small, especially considering the current cost of living and food inflation. If a business is going to charge premium prices, the food and portions need to match — and here, they absolutely do not.

The food itself was subpar at best. Nothing stood out, nothing justified the cost, and overall it felt rushed and careless. But the most unbelievable part was being served ONE green banana as the main portion of a $17 dish, regardless of the meat. That is honestly diabolical and disgusting. There is no scenario where one green banana constitutes a full meal at that price point.

With inflation rising, restaurants need to adapt by offering better value and reasonable portions, not cutting corners while charging more. If changes aren’t made, this business simply won’t last.

I’ll be taking my money elsewhere for Spanish food, and I strongly suggest others do the same. There are plenty of spots that respect their customers and actually deliver quality and value — this is not one of them.

I'm a truck driver and Spanish so I go to these places often. Most Spanish restaurants will load the plate up with lots of rice and some beans and 3 little pieces chicken for $10.00. But here as charming as the lady was. She put 2 small spoons of rice and 1 tiny drumstick for $10.00. I told the lady that was unacceptable for $10.00 plus tax. She then put the other most smallest piece of chicken. She told me I can have some beans on the rice or pay for a side of beans. Anyway the food really didn't have any taste. Needed seasoning. I would pass if there was a next time...

The lady who owns this place is terrible. Food is overpriced and she gives you very little and wants to upcharge you for asking for 2 small spoons more of rice. Upcharges your for small bistec. Go to Camden and its HALF THE PRICE FOR A LARGE TRAY OF FOOD. THE FOOD IN CAMDEN IS 10 TIMES BETTER. THIS PLACE WILL EVENTUALLY CLOSE DOWN.

This place will fool you from the outside. I had zero expectations, but I was blown away. It’s small and cozy but home style cooked food. The lady who attended me was beyond nice and genuinely sweet. The food is made with love and care. The chicken and ribs were so tender and fell off the bone. The bone in chicharron had perfect crunch and texture. It truly is a gem and worth staying in business. It was so good I had to take a plate to go. It is food with Dominican flare and it is extremely delicious

Food was not it. I got white rice and beans and it was not authentic spanish beans I recieved. It was more like baked beans. The yucca had ABZOLUTLY NO FLAVOR!!! it's like they boiled it in empty plain water. The peril was fatty and the flavor was off. Pernil should be seasoned for hours or a day. This wasnt seasoned the authentic way. The regular rice and beans were not flavored. This to me isn't authentic Spanish food. The best thing on my plate was the salad. The woman behind the counter was super nice but the food wasn't authentic. Originally being from new york I know spanish food!
