Delicious and healthy authentic Mediterranean food - hidden gem ! The falafels are very good and everything is homemade. Nice owners /family and clean store. Yummy cucumber/ mint dip as alternative to hummus and tahini sauce for the falafel.

Very delicious meal! I loved the deep flavor of the chicken shawarma and the crust of the bread that was used on it. The rice did not have any flavor, just color, but many Mediterranean restaurants have it this way. Only a few really good restaurants add some good flavor to their rice. I also had the beefsteak sandwich but I did not really like the mixture inside the sandwich. Their mixture of cheese, meat,onions, and pickles was not so flavorful.

The owner refused to let us enter the store or buy anything from the store . She said to never come again after writing a review that most of her products are expired which is 100% true. Absolutely horrible!!!!

Ordered some trays for a small party and everything was great. Absolutely zero complaints. Greek salad, tzatziki, hummus, gyros, falafel wraps. Everything was great. Can't wait to order again

I been meaning to try this place during Lent and finally was able to get in today and try the food. All I can say is WOW. The food was so delicious. I ordered the lamb gyro platter and the lamb shawarma ! I also had the cheesecake it was SOOO good it was a big size and good proportions here . I can’t wait to go back and try the knafeh , baklava , falafel . This is the place to go for a nice meal and dessert. This was the best cheesecake I have had since NYC. Not to mention the owner was incredibly kind and friendly despite me coming in right before closing she was gracious and extremely polite . Also they have a bit of grocery store in here as well it gives you NYC vibes . As well as all the decor in the store from Jordan and Levant is a nice touch. 5 stars! This is a MUST that you try this place! Don’t forget to try the cheesecake with your platters!

I found this place by accident. I really wanted a gyro since December 2021. This gyro fulfilled my taste buds. Homemade feta is the best I have ever tasted. They have the best Gyros. So good.

I literally am writing this review within five minutes of leaving Petra market. I am new to the area so I am super unfamiliar with the food and shops around. I just happened to drive by and see Petra market and walked in out of sheer curiosity. I am so, so very glad I did!! I am a huge lover of Turkish cuisine and Mediterranean food -- primarily because my two closet friends are of Turkish decent. Walking in here the owner is an absolute angel!!! I instantly felt at home!! She was so educating, accomodating and as I shopped helped me pick out some delicious goodies!! I was looking at Turkish coffees [as I love them and hadn't had good turkish coffee in years!!!] And she led me to an amazing brand that was flavored with Cardamom!!! I literally cannot wait to try it! So excited!!!! I also ordered the Chicken shawarma platter with saffron rice - oh my gosh!!!! The food was so beyond well seasoned, so moist -- Petra definitely has a new regular in me!!!! If you are wondering if you should come by please!!! Please do!!!! You will be so happy you did!!

Food was excellent, I especially liked that the tomatoes were small wedges instead of sliced like you would find on a burger. Customer service was also excellent, was offered a sample of their chicken and fries while waiting for my order. Will definitely eat here again.

Highly highly highly recommend this Mediterranean gem!! I ordered the falafel wrap which was insanely good! I had the Greek salad with it which was a huge portion and had the most delicious chunky feta cheese on the top ❤️ but the absolute STAR was the BAKLAVA CHEESECAKE!! 10 out of 10 will definitely be back!
