I went to pickup a customer's order , the cook came out if the hair braiding salon next door and went rite to work fixing plates. I'm never eating from here , and the attitude she had when I asked her to wash her hands was unbelievable , buyer beware , everybody don't need a restaurant
Found Sol Sazon on nearby restaurants. Was very excited to taste authentic Dominican food. The person who served us was very nice and explained what the food items were. It had a great atmosphere, and was clean. Definitely recommend!!
Been coming here for years, some of the best food EVER!
Decent food but not really worth the price. You're pretty much buying a full platter of rice and a tiny amount of whatever else for $14 that's only serving one person
Please fix your hours online and with Doordash. We placed a nice order on Monday and after 30 minutes we received a message from doordash that the restaurant was closed and our order was cancelled. Went to Google and it also said it was open.
Hands down best experience at a restaurant i ever had!. Tomas was pleasant, welcoming and professional. Very friendly. Food was delicious and the prices were amazing. I love my experience here and they now have a customer for life.
I just left there with my friend my daughter and my granddaughter and upon arrival it appeared to be clean and quaint. The handsome gentlemen came from the back with cell phone in hand didn't wash his hands and no gloves. Got a small piece of pork, rice and gandolas oxtails and cold dry vegetables.... My pieces of oxtail look like it had been bitten off the other one had only two little pieces of meat and all my food was totally salty and I have a headache right now. My rice was crunchy cuz it was dried out on the top. I'll never eat from there again it was not worth the $25 that I spent. The 17 my daughter spent. How much the 20 my friend spent. Zero stars for me thumbs down
Typically come here every Thursday. Became kind of a tradition after I tried their stewed goat and immediately fell in love! Reminds me of my grandmother's homemade cooking! If you’re looking for a great spot to grab some home cooked Spanish food, this is without a doubt THE GO TO SPOT!
I ordered the salmon meal and stewed goat. I didn’t know the goat was “out of stock” until i opened the bag and went to door dash to complain about my food missing. I looked at the order and saw that i was refunded for the item. No call or txt, no email, no phone call to ask if i wanted to replace the item. Dinner for 2 ruined. Thanks Sol Sazon. Not to mention not a napkin, fork or anything in the bag. Even if your food is ok, if the service is terrible, it’s all terrible. This is my second time and sadly it’ll be my last.
Not only do they have bomb plantains but now they have flavored seamoss!!! Get the mango flavor... Honestly all the flavors are great. And so healthy. Youre welcome

This is my 3rd time getting food from this spot. The first time I order Pollo guisao, and it was too salty, the chicken look like it wasn't clean. The second time I ordered mofongo and it was so salty and again Food was not fresh. This 3rd time I ordered the sancocho with a side order of tostones, I was highly disappointed. The white rice was cold, the food looked like it has been sitting there for days. They only gave me 1 tiny piece of chicken with 3 pieces of veggies. Tasteless! This is not Sancocho made with love. The food on IG looks so good but when you go to the store it's a disappointment. The staff it's rude! They do not even greet you when you come in. Don't even smile and she didn't even tell me what my balance was just took my card. I ordered 2 paatelillos and they were never in the bag. It's sad because the place has potential, but I don't think they are taking their services seriously. The restaurant don't even look welcoming, being hispanic and from philly I do not think they take pride in their stablishment.Their tostones was the best thing. Food definitely not cook on the same day. I think this is the last time I will come here.
absolutely wonderful experience loved the food, tasty and the customer service was superb
Went to this restaurant on Monday July 26, 2021. Was in the area and googled “vegan food near me” and this restaurant popped up.
$30 for a plate of white rice beans a salad n two empanadas not even no meat ! That is crazyyyy never ever again! food wasn’t even good at that ! I just moved out here and I’m about to open my own spot and show them what real Dominican food is because this place is truly trash !
The food was great. The rotisserie chicken was so moist and the salmon was delicious.
