“My wife and I went here a few months back. Food was incredibly good, chicken marsala was up there my top Joe's Italiano's Maplewood (best) but they are extremely high in quality. My wife had the Lentil soup and took home the Broccoli Rabe which were very, very good. She and I both really enjoyed the food here.“

“My family and I ate at this amazing restaurant! We happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. We were greeted nicely, the service was good and the food was delicious! We even met Richard who took the time to graciously explain the history and origin of the restaurant/ menu. The atmosphere was inviting and rich with culture. I would totally recommend Samarkand! “Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Seafood tower the best part of this $300 meal for 3. Their mussels were good, but had better. Their red fish was delicious. Their keylime pie went in the garbage. Our salads came after the meal, Ceasars with bread crumbs no croutons and definitely no anchovy, which i find odd for a seafood place. I dine out quite a bit, this was mediocre at best. Wont be going back. Would consider it if they had a liquor license just for the tower.“

Sun-dried tomatoes are more expensive than plum tomatoes and the flavor is very different.if they were not available the server should have mentioned and the price should reflect the difference. Very disappointed and only had a couple bites.“

“I love this place. They have some of the freshest distinct cocktail that I’ve seen that hasn’t been from a fancy spot or a speakeasy. They usually have a special and or some fresh fish. Backdoor pizza is also outback🤫. Only drawback is whenever me and my lady come in one female barkeep seems to purposely avoid greeting us or serving us. We sit at the bar and she’ll stay away like she playing defense for Manchester United and then when one of her co workers takes care of us she speak to any new patrons that come in and sit near us. Not sure what that could be but otherwise 5 ⭐️’s.“

Because we were a party of 2 and ordered many courses , the server staggered our food so we could enjoy every morsel We started with soup. I had the lentil my husband had Moroccan Bean. Both were so wonderful we we started sharing. I was looking forward to the taramasalata all day. When it came to the table along with warmed pita bread it did not disappoint. On to the falafel: which were some of the best we ever sampled. Not finished yet, next we had lamb kafta. Which were succulent and prepared to perfection. Our final course was the superb moussaka. The eggplant melted in our mouth with each bite and the ground beef and béchamel enhanced the flavor to a higher level Our only disappoint was we didn't have room left for dessert. There is always next time! Another wonderful dining experience at Norma’s!“

“This is a delicious spot!!! I got the s'mores crepe and it had whole graham crackers in the middle so you get a great crunch! Hubs devoured his strawberry and Nutella crepe. They had a connect four on the wall so we played that as we waited for our food. Crepes came out quickly.

Went back a second time. Still amazing. Highly recommend the work of art of the brownie crepe!“

I got a cheesesteak here not to long ago & it was really good, one of the best i ever had. But two weeks ago i got one and the roll was soggy which was disappointing. “Sue has been our waitress now for several years, she is on point! The food is excellent, this trip out my wife had the seabass for the first time, it was excellent! I had the chicken parmigiana with angel hair pasta. I had a special request and the Chef always does what he can to accommodate. Plan your trip to Parx Grill! Ask for Sue, you will not regret it! The food, ambiance and service is top notch and Parx Grill is a favorite destination!“

“VERY,VERY BUSY PLACE. I was by myself because I was on a business trip first night which was Friday and could not get a seat at the bar. So I opted to come back the next evening and got a seat. The bartenders were very friendly and very knowledgeable of what they were serving. Joked around and had a good time and seemed like their jobs. I got a ribeye steak with mashed potatoes. Those cooked perfection even when I asked them to make sure the steak was dry. I can always tell what kind of meat facility serves when you don't put anything like steak, butter or spices on it. You should not have to do that. And I'm telling you that the steak was a very prime, a good grade of steak. Overall, that atmosphere was great. A little dark for my taste but that's what you get when you go to a place like this. If you're going to visit here, plan to make sure that you see that they're going to be on a wait no matter what. Can't wait to go back. In fact, I'll probably be the one in Florida in a few weeks“
