My awful experience transpired at about 8:00 am on January18,2016... I've been going to this location for while now and buying my coffee, lotto,etc... I went to pay my coffe just like any other day and the gentlemen in front of me payed him with a twenty and said "it's all I have" the man behind the counter said "no problem" and gave him his change and the gentleman left... When it was my turn to pay I also only had a twenty dollar bill...the difference is that I got a totally different reaction... I was in such disbelief when the man behind the counter began yelling at me, telling me"who do I think he is!"he said " do you think I have change for everybody for a twenty!" He said "five people already handed me a twenty, it's no good!" I couldn't believe he was yelling at me telling me this! I told him "sir, if you don't have change,no problem,I'll just go to another store" this seemed to anger him... But what was I supposed to do? All I had was a twenty and he didn't have change... So ha took my twenty dollar bill, crumpled it up and slammed it in my hand! I asked him "is it my fault you don't have change for a twenty?" He shooed me away and said "next" I started toward the door and as I was leaving, I called him an a**hole... I was in such disbelief because I've been coming here for a while and always treated them with respect. When I come home I was so hurt by the treatment that I decided to call customer service... I looked it up on the Internet and proceeded to call what I thought was consumer service... When I call I asked " is this 7eleven customer service" and the man on the line said "no,this is a massage parlor" I said "sorry sir, wrong number" and as I was going to hang up he asked me if i "needed a massage" I said "no,thank you" and hung up... Seconds later I get a call back and it's the man I had just spoken to who told me it was a massage parlor. He told me "what can I do for you" I said " I'm sorry,I'm looking for 7eleven customer service" he said this is 7eleven, how can I help you" I was shocked! I said "what?" He said " I was just playing" I said "what kind of a professional are you?" He said he thought it was his uncle and that why he did that I said I was looking for customer service and he said "yes, how can I help you" although I felt uncomfortable because of what had just happened, I started to explain to him about what had happened to me and at what store location... As I was explaining I hear another person start talking to him in Indian... I recognized the voice as that of the man behind the counter. So I said "this is not customer service... This is the actual store!" He said "yes" he became rude and said "let me talk!" I said "go ahead, talk" he said could it be that you misunderstood him?" I said " no, he was very nice to the gentleman in front of me, I don't know if it's because he was in a suit and tie and I was in sweats because it's my day off" he said " could it be that the gentleman in the suit and tie took his last change and that's why he tried to explain to you that he had no more change" I said "if he would have done it the way you're making it seem I wouldn't be trying to reach out to customer service" I said "all he had to say is " sorry sir, I have no more change" and that would have been it... I said "That's how that situation is supposed to be handled by a professional, respectable business man" he said "could it be that he was trying to explain and you called him an a**hole!!" I told him "no,I only called him and a** hole when I was on my way out the door... After he had treated me the way he did"... It was clear to me that I was not talking to customer service, that the numb
