My boyfriend was responsible for putting together Easter dinner this year. We chose to do catering with Boston Market for the Avenel location. We ordered over a week ahead of time and uber eats confirmed our order because my boyfriend was concerned that he did not receive an email confirmation. We called for four days straight before Easter to try to touch base with the store. We live in Vernon so we could not drive to the store to resolve (rest of his family lives in Elizabeth/Cartaret area). We went to PA on Friday and Saturday before Easter. 4 hour car ride on Sunday to Avenel location from PA. Imagine our surprise to find the store CLOSED and an eviction notice taped to the front door. Not only does my boyfriend's 80 year old grandma have to figure out how to get reimbursed (he used her CC because she wanted him to organize but for her to pay), we had to scramble at 4PM on Sunday to figure out what to do for Easter. My boyfriend's name is Nicholas Colonnello and he had a pick up time of 430 to 5. Thankfully, we showed up early and that gave us a little time to restrategize. This is unacceptable that this location was not turned off on your website. The eviction notice, which I took a picture of, was dated a week before we placed the order. Easter could have been easily ruined and it really did put undue stress on the family.

I don’t know what’s going on recently with this place the Mac and cheese is not the same anymore is the second time I order for a take out and the Mac and cheese is disgusting. It used to be good.

I went in and the "Manager" had the nastiest adittudue she was even more nasty when I ask for dark meat n if it was okay I have to thighs since I don't eat leg she was like no so I said okay what about a wing and thigh and she rolled her eyes n was like no .... what kind of customer service is this ? Like why would I pay closed to 15$ for 2 pc chicken and I only be able to eat 1pc ? I just went to KFC where I was able to enjoy 3pc chicken thighs for less and the same side I wanted plus a drink! And better customer service yeah I would never come back id rather go to a Hispanic spot for some rotisserie chicken .

Something is going wrong at this location.The sliced turkey is completely different than it used to be. Instead of real sliced turkey breast, it now seems to be cheap processed "turkey" that does not have the texture of actual real turkey that is sliced off the bone.The mac & cheese was literally yellow water with worn out tasteless noodles.The stuffing had a little bit of a weird taste to it.The corn and mashed potatoes were ok.If I had to guess, I would say this location will soon be out of business. The location owner may be buying cheap, inferior ingredients just to make a few extra dollars before they are permanently closed. The parent company needs to look into this if they even care.It's a shame because I used to get very good meals from this location, but I will not be ordering from here again.

Night shift on 1/16/2024 thank you I ordered food for delivery to my truck an hour before you all closed while I waited to be loaded at a shipper. All the Boston Markets in Florida have closed and I was excited when I saw you all on Uber eats I knew I chances getting cold not so fresh food due to you all closing soon but that was the furthest from reality. EVERYTHING was so hot and fresh you all are doing a wonderful job?

Went to have dinner at 6:30 and the place was dark and no one was inside eating. I looked at the chicken that was in the Rotisserie and it was stopped and not turning the chicken. The parking lot was dark with no lights on signage. We left and ate elsewhere.

They are great. Always going above and beyond with their orders. I order from here nearly every Saturday and haven’t had anything to complain about yet. Also the pricing is more than fair considering you can go to a McDonald’s or Burger King and spend more for less food and quality than you can get here.

To the owner: You need to sell your franchise because you are ruining Boston Markets name! The restaurant is so outdated and bare, most the sodas are out of order and no hot sauce? How the hell do you not stock hotsauce. This place had gone downhill for years and shame on me for coming back here, food is old looking and not very hot!! I would never step foot is this location again! Patel owns this place and thats all i need to say!
