Absolute must stop here whenever I’m passing through. Easily accessible from all major highways. Ildiko keeps this shop neat and tidy and the meats are fresh and taste as you expect. For all those hard-to-find Magyar specialties and ingredients this is where you need to go. Nice selection of prepared meals you can take and heat, as well as handmade kohlbasz and szalami are always tasty. Plenty of free street parking.
Lovely little establishment with everything I need. Wonderful selection of hungarian noodles, meats and cheeses, fresh paprika ( not the spices found in the grocery store), apricot and prune for baking, freshly cooked hungarian foods, and baked items. Warm, friendly service.
As an NJ ex-pat, I had been schlepping to the Hungarian Meat Center in Passaic for several years when I visited NJ, but when I wanted to have a traditional Hungarian Easter dinner for friends and family in Louisiana, I found they no longer shipped their products, but the European Deli did!
