I didn't normally leave reviews but honestly this one is a long time coming. Since we purchased our home in Woodbridge we made it our mission to find good Chinese food since we moved from Brooklyn, NY where honestly any food is amazing. We found this treasure and it's been our favorite place... The staff especially the amazing delivery man he is already so happy and nice. Providing is with the best service. The food is amazing literally everything is great!

Probably the worst Chinese food I ever ate. The beef didn't look like or taste like beef. The dumblings dough was so thick. Terrible!

Food was fresh and tasty. Utensils and condiments plenty. Great spot for Chinese take out. Cook is not heavy handed with soy sauce so it’s not crazy salty which me and my family love. I know some love the salty but for us it’s just right. Shrimp meifun was loaded with shrimp. Just big portions. Price is perfect for the food. Enjoy !!

The food here was scrumptious and delicious. I would definitely comeback to try their other options from their large menu. The food was well prepared and five star flavors. The scene was authentic and full of chinese culture. If you are thinking of coming, you should definitely go.

Ordered for my family takeaway from around four miles away. The food came quickly, and was still hot! The Wonton Soup was absolutely delicious, especially when I added a little touch of Soy. The wontons were full of flavor and the broth had great depth. My son loved the General Tso’s chicken and I had a few pieces and felt the same way. My husband ordered the Spare Rib Combo and the Crab Rangoons for us to split and they were absolutely delicious. So full of cream cheese and delicious crab. The Small Spare Rib combo was extremely tender, and even good the next day for lunch. Lastly, the Moo Shu Pork I ordered was we packed with flavor and the pancakes was a generous serving amount. Overall, I highly reccomend. The workers were all extremely nice over the phone when I had a question, and the food ended up being even better. I usually don’t write reviews for restaurants but Hong Kong Star was the best asian food I’ve had in forever and will become a staple in my household. So delicious and will be recommending to everyone in central jersey area

I recently went to this store and really enjoyed the experience. The people working there were friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I entered. I was impressed by how fast my order was ready; everything was ready in about 10 minutes. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, and the portions were generous. Good prices, considering the quality, and a great value. In general, a very nice visit, and I will be back soon!

We wanted to try a different Chinese restaurant so I gave this place a shot and I'm definitely not a fan. It's bad enough I had to spend close to $14 for delivery but to leave an item out of my order and then telling me they are too far to bring it is insane to me. They told me to call Uber eats back. I couldn't do that as it was not their mistake. So I ended up having to drive and pick it up. The food was ok but slightly salty in the lo mein. I was hoping this would have been more of a positive experience. So far since I moved out of Brooklyn NY I haven't found the right Asian cuisine yet. Hopefully I will soon.

We just recently started ordering from here, and I am so happy with absolutely everything we order. Also, tonight, one of the bags ripped, however, nothing got ruined. They gave us free soda AND free soup, despite no food getting ruined. We didn't ask, they just showed up with it. They have white meat chicken options, which I really like. The food has always been delicious.

I ordered food for the first time yesterday and I wasted my money. WORST FOOD EVER. Boneless ribs were so tough and tasted old. I threw away the whole combo . Very disappointed
