Jose Tegas was my favorite place to go! My stomach would get so excited just seeing the "EAT" sign. Since Covid it just went downhill. The new Covid menu is horrible. They replaced the delicious swordfish tacos with mango salsa with hard fried shrimp tacos & slaw. Some of the best dishes like Crawfish etoufee, eggplant royale & tortilla shell salad are gone. The new menu is awful, this could explain why wait times are little to no wait! Bring back the original menu JT!!!

Why, why are you now using chicken cutlets for the Fajitas?? Prior it was thinly sliced chicken breast. Can't understand the change, not for the better.

Went there Sunday 4/14 with a group of 7 people.We got there early to be first in line to be seated. Trevor was our server and was amazing to all of us!!! He kept our waters filled and came over a few times to check on us for drink refills etc. I would definitely ask for Trevor the next time I go. The food was great and no wait to be seated since we got there before opening at 1130.

I’ve been to Jose Tejas customer for a very long time. But my recent experience with them has really made me question if I should be spending my money there last week my girlfriend wanted steak fajitas so I Order steak fajitas, Hito and Carne Asada I Drove 30 minutes to Jose Tejas to pick up my order. After driving back and unpacking the food The steak fajitas are not there. Try to call and speak to someone only for the phone to ring and ring with no answer. The following day I go to the restaurant in person and speak to the manager. He asked me how he can make it right I said I guess use your discretion. A few days goes by and all they did was refund me for that one dish. After it’s all set and done I don’t think, that was fair compensation for them ruining my Families dinner. The least they could’ve done was bought us an appetizer SMH.

This place is just amazing!Great food, great vibe, courteous staff!Some of my favorites - pastellitos, blackened chicken fingers and their complimentary chips and salsa.There's a wait to be seated and on the weekends it could be more than 30 minutes but it's totally worth it.

A great roadside restaurant! This is such a great local favorite restaurant. The food is phenomenal, and the service is very friendly. Be careful though, because during the weekends and evenings, the waits can be over an hour! Get there early or get a reservation! Other than that, highly recommended!
