Wonderful spot with friendly and knowledgeable staff who keeps things clean. I've been going here occasionally over that past 2 years and every time I finished my food wondering about the next time. I think what really sets Playa Bowls apart is their ingredients which have always tasted fresh and tasty.
I usually love it here but the staff I experienced last Monday makes me not want to come back tbh. I ordered two of the same Nutella acai bowls without bananas due to the person I was with being unable to eat bananas. When I grab the bag and notice my order was wrong, I advised the girl who made it. She looks at the man who took my order and he tells her it’s not wrong and that is what we ordered. Instead of just making it right for the customer, they continue to stare at me as if I was wrong. I told them we cannot eat bananas therefore we would not ever order bananas on something. The young girl who made the bowl looks at the guy again and he rolls his eyes and shrugs almost in a “whatever” response. she offered to remove the bananas rather than make a new bowl which is strange customer service to me. … it’s wild how this guy is mad he put the wrong order in when he also gave me a whole different name on the order as well. Clearly he made 2 mistakes but had the audacity to be rude about it instead. … I usually come here often but don’t know if it’ll continue after dealing with that guy.
***In no way do I believe it’s the fault of the young girl who prepared our order.

Always love their bowls, fresh, and delicious! Love love that we can add in some extra protein and my fav is Nutella bowl! Gotta love it. The service is friendly, relaxed and laid-back, they are welcoming to all so it’s an awesome positive atmosphere there!
