The Colonial Restaurant

I’m not an expert by any means but my experience here was just average. Food was ok, coffee strong, pancakes were just that pancakes like I said nothing really special. Would I come back maybe if I was in the area but I’m never around this area so no I won’t go back.

My toddler has been coming to Colonial since he was 2, and it truly feels like a second home for us. Every visit is a joy—he absolutely loves the food, and it’s always a treat to see him light up when he sees Michelle and Tommy. They are not just staff—they're warm, welcoming, and treat every guest like family.

The way they interact with the kids is so special—it’s rare to find that kind of genuine connection these days. This photo perfectly captures how happy and comfortable he feels here. Thank you, Colonial team, for always making our mornings brighter!

Got me a chicken bacon ranch wrap from this little joint today. Phenomenal food, phenomenal atmosphere. With the diner recently shut down nearby, this is the spot to take it’s place. Tommy is an amazing guy, and the staff is full of amazing people with amazing service. Definitely check this place out

The food had zero flavor it tasted bland

Still one of the better places in Woodbridge Township. This is one of two spots that regularly get my business. I won’t mention the other in this review but both are in Fords and both are top notch! The food has been consistent for years and the service is excellent.

Went for breakfast. The place was pretty busy so we sat at the counter. The staff were friendly and the food was what you would expect for a diner. The problem was the wait for the food. We waited almost an hour for eggs and pancakes, they need to figure something out to get the food out faster.

This place is amazing! The service is so friendly, they really make you feel like a welcome guest. All the staff was so nice. Traditional Diner, good location too! Must visit.
