Charlie Brown's Fresh Grill

Ordered a ribeye got a sirloin. Not the first time this happened. Last time , they gave me a big argument. I know what steaks look like. Won’t be back.

Good service,great sandwich,I just wish the fries were better,a bit greasy with an odd coating I've had similar fries in other restaurants,I just wish more places would make fresh cut fries!

Probably time of night but waitress didn't know we were seated to be waited on food was not very good service not very good

Prime Rib was overcooked & tough. The (supposed to be Au jus) It was not. It tasted like boxed beef broth.
The salad bar was fresh, and we enjoyed every bite.
Our waitress was a little slow, and that was fine as she was busy. We both worked in the industry and understand.

I wish I had something good to say here. The initial reaction to our entrance was anything but welcoming. Less than fifteen minutes into receiving our meal we were offered to go boxes. The place was practically empty and 3 hours remained before closing. Of course my son and I were seated in an area away from other guest. I get it. Every restaurant isn’t meant for everyone. Likewise every place of employment isn’t for everyone who shows up. Maybe put up signage so that others that look like us don’t make the same mistake.

Worst Turkey Dinner we i ever had. To begin parking is hard when its is busy. I walk up to the restaurant walking thru a cloud of cigars smoke that really stunk. Your comingbin when people are coming out where you run into each other. Theres one way inbone way out. Its not handicap accessible. Smaill waiting area. Waiters run into you. They have it chaotic in there with not a clear bath for people. The food is just horible and high priced. The turkey tasted like it was turkey roll. And it was garlick mash with to much garlic. String beens were cold. So were the carrots that cfc were totally to cruncy. Turkey taste like turkey roll. Gravy bland. It wasnt worth 30 dollars. I wanted pie but it was 10 dollars for a slice of pumpkin pie. That probally tast like dried up pie. Its dark and noisy in there. Not a good atmosphere. I wont be back. Its not worth it. The dinner is way beyter than you guys .

Yummy food & good service, but astronomical prices. I used to go there regularly with a friend (and, long ago, with parents and/or husband), but was priced out prior to the pandemic. Decades ago, the queen-size prime rib was $10, then crept up & up - now $30! For 4 entrees & 1 alcoholic drink + tax/tip, the total was ~$175!!!

The food was good, the salad bar was plentiful with a good variety, our server was very professional but the place was dirty! Cig butts by entrance, old original stained carpeting, harsh lighting and ceiling fans blowing right on your table, dust all over the counters/bookshelves. I was concerned to even eat there tbh. I heard they remodeled but I didn't see how?‍♀️

Amazing salad bar. My filet was good. The chicken dish was dry and tasted like leather. They did apologize and take off our bill

You can get better food at your local dive bar. $16 cheeseburger that just wasn't good. At all.

The food is away good and cooked the way you like it.

Parking: Need more handicap ♿️ parking.

I used to go here all the time when younger, and the experience now is as good as it was then. The building is historic and used to be a hotel. The interior is a mix of classic late 1800s design with some modern amenities in the bar area. It is a great atmosphere inside, with a nice dining room set up like an old library with bookshelves lining the walls.

The food is great value and tasty, with reasonable entree and steak prices. The big draw for me is the salad bar, a veritable feast of salads (lettuce, pasta, and potato varieties) which can stand as a meal all on its own (and that is an option, in fact).

Charlie Browns is a local gem, great for a celebratory dinner or a nice night with friends. Is the most extraordinary steakhouse I’ve ever been to? No. But is the food tasty and the atmosphere homey? Absolutely!

I definitely enjoyed my steak and the salad bar is a great plus! I look forward to going back for more! You should definitely stop by this local favorite restaurant.
