Maggio's Pizza & Pasta

Been wanting to try here for a few years. Finally took the plunge today. Staff was friendly. Place seemed nice. But the bottoms of my slices where covered in charred dust like the oven was in dire need of cleaning. So a lot of my pizza just tasted burnt. A few minutes after sitting down with my slices, I saw the pizza maker scraping inside the oven. So perhaps just unfortunate timing. Slices would have been fine if not for the need to clean the oven before my slices went in. Doubt I will return. Giving it a 3 because I think I would have enjoyed it without the oven issue. Wish I had taken pics of the plate and undercarriage. But yeah. First impressions mean a lot, and this one missed me.

The staff at Maggios are amazing. My son and I are in the area randomly. I was looking for a great pizza place and Maggios was perfect. Just wanted some slices and it was late in the day. We thought it was Buffalo chicken in the case but it was Chicken Bacon Ranch….the gentlemen said I can add some hot sauce for you if you would like……..let me tell you, it was the best chicken bacon ranch hot sauce pizza. My son also really enjoyed the Grandma slice as well. It says “start your diet tomorrow on the napkins”, which I think is amazing and a nice touch

Ordered a pie from here earlier with meatballs and peppers. It was great. But now it's been in the fridge a couple of hours and i just had a cold slice: AMAZING. Have to recommend the meatballs and peppers.This place is always great. I want them to know they are appreciated.

Gets a 3 Only because the Bread didn't taste as Fresh as it should..The cheesesteak meat was good but had to deduct points for the bread .Made sandwich not great.

This place is the quintessential pizza spot in Deptford. This place has fed the kids in the surrounding area and their kids for YEARS. Truly a Deptford staple. The owners and staff are the friendliest people you'll ever meet and they never forget a face.

I recently brought my fiance from North Carolina here who has never had pizza from the north east and she LOVED IT. There is a magic to Maggio's in Deptford that everyone needs to experience.

Swung by for just a slice and only wish I ordered more.

I'm in town working from the MD area, but I'm a northern girl born and raised. I cannot find food pizza in MD so I'm always on the hunt when I travel. The Cheese Pizza is absolutely perfect ❤️. Crispy and tangy and gooey cheese. I'm in love. Also got a tossed salad that was huge and delicious and loaded with great ingredients. I'm in the Deptford area often and now know exactly where to go for perfect pizza, great service and easy ordering. Thank you.

Stopped once after leaving the mall and the staff was so friendly. Had to leave a review to give credit.

This place!! WONDERFUL food and WONDERFUL people! Everything is delicious!!! Eat here 3-4x a week!!!

Chicken Supreme salad is a must 😋

I had a Pizza Steak, and it tasted very good. But my neighbor says that they put a lot of steak meat on the sandwich, and he said he can't eat it all. I didn't think that there was a lot of steak meat on the sandwich
