I loved NYC Latin/Spanish/Caribbean food as a young man from stores that didn't speak English but taught me how great the food was from animals and plants I wasn't familiar with. The pork with all the fixings is my go to. I love it all.

The food is always just as delicious every time I’ve been here. The owner Chapo and his wife are very warm and it feels like you’re invited to a meal with them. I can’t thank them enough for countless great meals and smiles and laughs.

Love this place! If you are looking for authentic Puerto Rican Cuisine... this is the spot!! From the pasteles to the unbelievably tasty pernil, you just cant go wrong with any of the dishes on the menu. Believe me, I have had almost everything on the menu! LOL! From someone who is originally from NYC who had access to great Puerto Rican food at all times... Chapo's definitely is the spot to hit when you are homesick... as a matter of fact - am going right now...?
