Ordered for takeout. Portion size is ridiculously small. Taste is Decent but not justified for the price charged.

Came here after seeing all the awesome reviews on Yelp and decided to come and try ourselves. Thought everything was just ok and portion was very small for the price charged. Service was very friendly however. This place is small and cute. Service was also very friendly. They are also BYOB which is greatWe ordered a bunch of things including this garlic sautéed with tofu, beef pad Thai, green curry, the infamous curry puffs everyone talks about here and the chicken fingers for the kids. The only thing we really enjoyed was the curry which had a very savory flavor. Pad Thai was wayyy too sweet and had too strong of an eggy aroma to it...the smell sometimes you can in your bowl after beaten an raw egg. The garlic tofu was decent but again very sweet and thought the portion was too small. The most talked about curry puffs were just ok imo. The chicken fingers were your regular chicken fingersOverall, I would probably just come back and order the curry from now.

Let me start by saying the woman who took my order over the phone was polite at first. It was Mother's Day I wanted my favorite dish, unfortunately it was not a good idea to try a different place. I paid about $25 dollars for drunken noodles and spring rolls which is kind of on the pricey side but hey I wanted to treat myself, When I got home about to eat a portion of my food it was barley any food in my tray, I really thought I was being punked. I eat Thai at least once a week, so I know what portion is usually giving at other restaurants. I usually read reviews before going to new places but this time I didn't, after reading the reviews it seem as though this is a problem at this establishment. So, I said to myself the little bit of food was actually tasty and the woman who took my order was really nice on the phone so maybe if I call and just have a conversation with her to talk to her cook it wouldn't be a problem. Well, her toned changed once I complained and her words to me was " I find that hard to believe." It wasn't like I was asking for my money back or free food I wanted her to talk to her cook. To take people hard own money and not provide them with the proper amount of food is INHUMANE! There's no way half your reviews saying the same thing I would not ever step foot in the establishment again, its ok to own when your wrong! Just a heads up these establishments that's listed below is TOP TIER House of Thai in Kinnelon, Bangkok Garden in Hackensack, also DD Thai in Rochelle Park. I will be adding photos in the future of real portions of Drunken Noodles.

Been going here for years with my daughter, friends, and family. Absolutely loved the food. Owner must have changed recently.Quality of food is HORRIBLE now. Edemame was old, dry, and stale. Dishes were overpriced and quality of food is HORRIBLE, not to mention the quantity is very little for the price. Pad thai tasted like it was made with ketchup. Green chicken curry had about 3 pieces of chicken and sauce tasted bitter. Very disappointing, will never go back again.

A hidden gem of a place. This is my every day go to Thai restaurant for several reasons outside of the food alone. The food of course is delicious, freshly made, and can be spicy for that day you need a little more kick. The spice levels can go past #5 if you dare to, and I do not dare go above a 4. I mostly order a level 3 and a 4 on some winter days.My favorite dish is the drunken noodle, but on occasion I will also get the Thai basil and ginger basil. The consistency is there on every visit which draws me back every so often. The decor and lighting is beautiful and homey. There is always parking either on the street (no meter) or behind the restaurant, and the service is great. I wish they would do a delivery service like doordash, but understand that it makes more work for their small staff and they value the quality of the food they provide. So I will often drive down to pick up an order when it's on my route. That's how much we love our Thai order from here.If you found this review or pictures helpful or you enjoy clicking on things.. I humbly appreciate the feedback??. Cheers ?

DISAPPOINTED. I made a reservation for 5 people for a New Year's Eve dinner. My family and I arrived on time to our table and were basically denied service because an entree order per person bogus requirement. This requirement is not stated anywhere on the menu nor did the staff have any right to take our order. We were a party of 5 with intention to order appetizers and a few entrées, family style. I tried talking reason with the lady manager explaining our orders. Our menus were collected like nothing and we were basically expected to leave. It's a BYOB so we quickly finished a glass of wine that was already poured and we left. This was New Years Eve dinner, the party was myself, my spouse, 2 seniors (parents from out of town) and bro in law. We selected Imocha for a very special family dinner and I am disappointed and frankly embarrassed by this treatment. We are locals, walking distance to Imocha and have enjoyed their dinner in the past. Sadly, they have lost a loyal, local customer.

This place used to be the best. Now food quality is down drastically. The quantity for dinner don't even feed person. Very less quantity. Extremely expensive. Will never visit. Seems like new owners have messed up.

Me and partner stopped here by chance, while driving in the area. Both of us really enjoyed the food here. Personally I enjoyed how fresh my pad thai was made. I was also educated on how my dish was prepared in the traditional manner vs the untraditional less expensive ways other restaurants use. I particular liked how informative the owner was about my dish because it really enlightened me about my dish and made me appreciate the favor and all it’s nuances. My partner had the yellow curry which was flavorful, with well balanced spice and Thai basil. The Thai ice tea was sweet and light. By far one of best Thai food restaurants! Delicious, fresh and traditional food.

I’m new to the state and was hoping to find a local place for Thai food because it’s one of my favorites. Barely any garlic chives or bean sprouts and super dry. Failed to detect any tamarind sauce in the flavor.

Pad Thai tastes nothing like pad Thai it was inedible. Same with the Tom yum soup. Awful. Wish the owners the best but they need to work on the recipes .

I've been coming to imocha for years now and it's one of my favorite places to order from. I'm very sensitive to energy and have only ever felt welcome here, and the food is always made with love. The restaurant itself is always quiet and peaceful. Everything on the menu is delicious. And the owner is thoughtful and kind. This restaurant deserves more than 4.3 stars. But as always, these comments do not always reflect the truth and people will give low ratings for things that don't matter and hurt a business that doesn't deserve it. I love imocha and will always be a customer here. This restaurant has been a part of what makes new jersey home for me and I appreciate every detail and thought that went into creating and sustaining it. Really lovely place.

Don't bother. I've been ordering drunken noodles from here for years and they've always been so good. Two visits in a row and I got flavorless noodles without any sauce and grilled chicken thrown on top. I'll never go back.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT GO HERE. THE LADY WAS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!I came with my sister and father. My dad wasn’t hungry so we ordered 2 dishes. She wanted to charge us $5 for sharing. I told her my dad wouldn’t due to allergies. She reluctantly agreed but the her audacity was unbelievable! She very rudely took the plate and water away in front of my dad. Absolutely disgusting behavior! The place was empty and there was a really bad odor everywhere! Yet you behave like this.DO NOT GO HERE! NOT WORTH IT!
