In the 90's Ranch One was THE BOMB. It was THE BEST chicken sandwich in NYC. Living in NJ the last 16 years, I thought there were no Ranch Ones here. I will NOT spend my money at Chik-Fil-A, so, no chicken sándwiches sandwiches for me.Then, while taking a little trip down memory lane, I decided to Google it and I saw that there IS a Ranch One on 46, SO CLOSE to my house!! This is a Ranch*1 and Blimpie in a shared location. The food was a bit different than all of the other Ranch*1s that used be around NYC. The fries were different and the bread was different (maybe because of Blimpie?) The classic grilled chicken came with lettuce, tomatoes and roasted red pepper sauce on it already (instead of just Romaine lettuce and sliced almonds) and it did not taste like it was marinated with the classic recipe. It was still good, just not what I had expected.
