Great staff who remember you; honest no frills food, with an classic diner ambiance. You leave happier, fuller, and with a little local gossip.Parking: Plenty of it. Parking for daysKid-friendliness: It's the kind of place where nobody is going to judge if your kids are less than model citizens. If you're a parent of younsters you appreciate that more than anything else.

For an impromptu stop, I couldn't have been more pleased. The service was attentive and pleasant. The food was delivered quickly and hot. The menu selection was extensive, and the prices were reasonable. If I'm am ever in that area again, I will definitely stop by and have something to eat.

My wife had a side salad that was good, cold and crispy veg. She had the chicken parm with angel hair pasta that she enjoyed. I tried it and found the marinara sauce to be pretty much a can of tomato's with salt but it wasn't my dinner it was hers. My son got chicken tenders and fries that were crispy and delicious if not a bit salty, but hey he ate it. We ordered potato's skins as an appetizer and I got a French onion soup and everything arrived at the same time which was kinda annoying. It's ok to drop the soup and skins together but bringing the entrees with all that defeats the purpose of getting starters in my opinion. I began with the French onion soup and there was no broth inside it. It's like they forgot to ladle it into the bowl before putting in the bread crumbs and cheese. The bread crumbs inside were hard so it's not like they soaked up the broth either. If I were basing my rating on that soup alone I'd give this a 1 star. I got a French dip with fries and it was ok. It was on garlic bread and I wasn't expecting that at all, so it didn't taste quite like a French dip that I'm familiar with. The au jus was the saltiest thing I've ever tasted besides actual salt. I wasn't a fan of my Meal and only ate half. My wife and I wound up splitting one of the potato skins appetizers after our meal and by that point the cheese had congealed and got weird. It was like the cheese wiz you put on some cheesesteaks. Not at all what I was expecting. I don't think we will be going back to this place. The server was top notch though and we tipped well but the food was something to avoid.

Lately this year I have noticed the diner is very slow. My last two meals here were questionable. Last night me and my wife went for the chicken pot pie. We both got the crab soup. Both got water with lemon. We BOTH got sick when we got home. Explosive bowl movements and nausea. It is the next morning and I still feel nauseous. Never going here again.

We ordered takeout for about 40 people. Working with Kathie, it was a seamless experience. Food was on time, hot and organized per family so dividing the food was easy. Definitely recommend!!!
