Garden State Restaurant Diner

I wish I had photos to add, but I didn’t even own a cell phone last time I was here. I was stationed at McGuire AFB and this was a place I ate at regularly. Amazing food, amazing service and always open! Would love to go back someday.

Great service, reasonbly priced, great selection. Been goin for over 20 years never been disappointed.

Our waitress was excellent. Friendly and very conscientious. Good meal.

Prototypical Jersey Diner, but with a full service bar. Good food, good prices and the staff and regular crowd are salt of the earth type people.

The only good thing was the waitress was nice. She didn't know the menu, but it is big so I'll forgive her that. But the chairs weren't comfortable and the silverware was cheap. I was with a party of 6 and no one was impressed with their food. My salad was iceberg lettuce and croutons. No veggies or darker lettuce. The bacon was extremely thin that others had. Meanwhile most of the food was dry, bland, cold, or all three. I would find somewhere else to eat.

Enjoyed lunch here recently with a party of 6. Host was very friendly and prompt. Our server was great, engaging, attentive. She checked on us frequently and made sure we got everything that we needed. Food was good, typical diner types of things. Easy to find from the road and plenty of parking.

Food was great. Their fresh strawberry shortcake is fantastic! Made with real strawberries! Only complain is that there was a table by us that was really loud and had a kid that was running all over. Everyone around was bothered by it and complained but no one did anything about it.

Food was very dry not cooked to our request - waitress was abrupt and non apologetic when the food was presented cold or not to our liking and some of our party had finished eating while some had not even received there food

Me and my son both ate there yesterday and starting last night BOTH of us are Pucking and have the Runs! Now this is the ONLY THING I ATE yesterday so not a coincidence! I called and let them know and they said they’re not getting people sick they sold thousands of eggs! Now I’m up in NJ from Virginia And was supposed to leave last night but couldn’t because I couldn’t leave the bathroom not sure I’m gonna be able to leave tonight either so now I’m paying two extra nights in a hotel because of this! And I was usual they deny they got us sick and offered no solution!!!!!!! So buyer beware of this place!!!!!

I attended a 50th birthday party & the staff was wonderful

Good food at a good price. Nice location too for us out here in the sticks. I had the chicken cordon bleu panini. Was large, fresh, and piping hot when it came out. Will definitely be back at some point down the road.
