“This place is excellent. Keep in mind its cash only, with an ATM located inside. My first time there was sort of forced, when i was younger i was not open to different food like this. Now i find myself at this establishment multiple times a month. This time i had the saint patty day special. Corned beef with cabbage, and potato soup. Very good. Also tried the brat salad (i think it was called) which is german bologna with tomatos, onions, and maybe cucumber. It was extremely good. The kartoffelpuffers (potato pancakes) are amazing, the spatzel (fried german noodles) are my favorite. And the beef stew is like no other. Ive never had anything bad off this menu. The desserts are great as well.“

“The salads are BIG and there are severals options to choose from. My favorite it the House salad and Yordanas salad. The bruschetta is always fresh and delicious. Chicken Saltimbuco is my dh favorite. Also a great place to buy catered meals!“

The “ Specialty Coffee Roasters “ truly speaks for itself as the coffee and the service / atmosphere here is special in itself. This past weekend, on Saturday my church had an event where they had Turtle Beans come out to be a barista for the event itself. I ended up getting the caramel iced latte and it truly was the best iced latte I have personally had. It was so good that it drove me to go immediately after Sunday service to their shop right on Farnsworth Ave in Bordentown to get the same coffee! They have so many hand crafted coffee options to choose from cold or hot, as well as hand crafted seasonals to try and choose from! They import and roast their own specialty coffee beans from multiple coffee producing countries around the world making every sip a truly unique experience! They also have different varieties of teas and pastries sourced from local bakeries! Steven and Linda are so very welcoming and genuinely amazing people, they have made the atmosphere for their shop as welcoming as they are. Keep making amazing coffee and specialty’s Turtle Beans, you are both rocking it! I've been a loyal customer for 2 years & not only do they make the greatest breakfast sandwiches we've ever had, but they have an amazing staff. Their sandwiches & cold brew beat any other shop around by far. They load you up on bacon & always have the freshest bagels you've ever tasted. The staff is the sweetest & will always remember you, and the atmosphere is always homey. Can't speak highly enough!“

“Everything was delicious! There was so much to select from. I chose to get a BBQ wing platter with 2 sides which were Mac and cheese and roasted potatoes. The mac and cheese was just ok but I didn't expect it to be so much, it wasn't as cheesy it just takes like noodles with creamy cheese sauce and very wet in texture, but it was edible but I probably wouldn't get it again. The roasted potatoes were very good, exactly how it sounds. I also picked, a kielbasa, which was very good. A smoked turkey leg, delicious and juicy. A side of green beans, just tasted steamed or boiled a bit with maybe butter in it but it was just ok in my opinion, I liked the texture not the flavor as it wasn't much to it, just basic green beans. I also, picked a side order of wings, which I received the bbq and the plain smoked wings and my family and I enjoyed them, they were cooked just right and very juicy and the BBQ wings had a good smoky BBQ taste. That I would try again. But yhe lady who served me was very nice, friendly and professional, she was very helpful and patient as I really was amazed with such a huge selection. Everything was hot and fresh and they also gave me a large quantity. It was enough for I bought but lasted for 2 nights dinner. I also, got their fresh homemade Lemonade in a half gallon, that was delicious as well! I will definitely be back again! ?❤️“

“Our food was not good tonight May 13, 2025... sliced filet mignon was tough, couldn't even chew it, told the server and someone named Jacob came and asked if we wanted something else..there were 4 of us, they were all eating so I said no.. they didn't even take my meal off the check... disgraceful, food is way overpriced,, we will never eat here again“

“First visit mid September 2023. My buddy from this neighborhood and I decided to check out the restaurant. I wasn't hungry but the coffee was good and my buddy really enjoyed his breakfast and the waitress was fantastic. So, from that point on. I decided to take a chance and invite my very picky wife. She and I also enjoyed our huge meals with fresh ingredients. We've been to a few other restaurants and it seems that the trend now is to charge high prices for canned goods. It's a real turn off. Again, I took a chance and invited my out of state buddy to dine here after bragging about how great the food is and the service is top notch... well, almost! When we arrived, the cashier/hostess guided us to a table near the counter. My buddy got up and asked the two female workers (one of which wound up being our waitress) where the men's room was, neither one of them turned around to acknowledge him. The busboy turned and gave him directions. Later, we got a young waitress and we both are assuming she was new. We had to ask for everything from coffee creamers to napkins. I'm hoping she'll get better as time goes on. When our dinning experience was finished (with this girl) I asked for a container, she brings it out but doesn't quite get it on the table and it falls to the floor and instead of saying "Don't worry, I'll get another one", she just looks at it (on the floor) and so I had to reach down to pick it up. Thank goodness, it landed on its backside so, it was still usable. I wanted to give five stars for service but that one girl messed up my thought process. Bottom line is, Jenett is the best seasoned waitress there. She knows how to treat her guests. She's thoughtful, able to assess the situation and is eager to help out wherever she can. There are two other girls that are pretty good too. But my experience is on Janette. From now on, I'm going to ask who our waitress/server is going to be.“
