Great time for my wife’s 50th birthday. Our server Rolando was very attentive and hospitable . Will strongly consider this restaurant for my next private event.

We've been going to the Brick House for years, we also go to Aldo's once in a while. But the last few times we've gone, we had poor quality food at best. The service is fine and the staff recognize us as regulars and we can't complain. It's the food. The quality has definitely gone down. I think the owners have cut corners on quality in order to make more money. The food is like what you would expect at a wedding or other large function, just ok. We won't waste our money here anymore, when we can get what we pay for at other fine restaurants in the area. BTW the place is a gold mine and there is no need to cut corners.

Food just wasn't to my liking, granted I didn't order a steak or a burger but the fish and stuffed mushrooms really weren't good at all, sorry to say.

Historic and nice atmosphere. Not the best steak I’ve ever had but decent. Great wine. Service good. My only gripe was the cigar bar. The vibe was like a club with techno music pumping. Very loud. Wrong music. Not the vibe you want in a cigar bar.

Had a very disappointing meal there on the 15th. Ordered a salad w blue cheese dressing crumbled blue cheese came instead, but that was fine. My friend and I ordered steaks that were not cooked to how we ordered. Mine was sent back only to come out just as rare, ordered medium well. Service was ok at best. The two drinks were ok. All in all , not impressed for a bill at $151 for two. Ambiance was ok. Very quiet on a Thursday night. This was my place to go to for a nice dinner but now is off my list.

When arriving there is valet parking but you can self park as well. Main foyer/entrance is beautiful, main bar area is nice too, but some of the dining areas are a bit dated or starting crack a bit in the walls. My party and I were a sizeable group, 6 adults and 2 kids and a toddler, so I understand that confusion was bound to happen with a lot going on, plus with other large dining groups in the same room, for the waiter serving us. He forgot a few things or needing remindjng for certain things, but not the worst experience that I had. Food portions overall were pretty large, and/or worth the price. Some dishes were a little dry or over seasoned, but again, not the worst that I have experienced. Would truly give a 3.5 rating if I could, over just 3. If I were to be in the area, I would come again, to give it another try, with the hopes tipping the scale to be a 4 star experience or a true 3 star experience.

I will admit that every place is open to a bad night, but this particular experience went south from the startTook me 3 times to get a menu. At one point ended up getting 2 drinks because I wasn’t sure that either bar tender was responding to my requestsI waited close to an hour to get my To Go Order. I asked for the bill and the one bartender said your order wasn’t ready yet! I said I wanted to pay so I could go and open the seatOnce again, anyone is subject to an off night but this experience was DEPLORABLEI also asked for change of a $20 so I could tip the valet and even that got ignored, so I ended up shorting the bartenders $5 so the valet did not pay the price

Great classic Italian food and steaks. Beautiful ambiance and setting. A bit pricey but worth it.

I visited Brick House for dinner at 5pm on a Wednesday. The parking lot was packed and it was surprisingly very difficult to find a parking spot. At some point they did open the valet lot up which helped. The restaurant was cozy inside with a fireplace near our table. Our waiter was awesome. Very knowledgeable regarding the menu items. We ordered an assortment of items from the appetizer menu. The stuffed mushrooms were quite literally the bomb dot com. I could eat those every day. For my entree I ordered the french onion soup and the cod which came with a salad and baked potato. The french onion soup was good. The cod was just okay. The menu was overall very expensive. If it wasn't for business I most likely wouldn't be going here for a night out on my own. I did enjoy my visit and my mouth is watering again just thinking about those stuffed mushrooms.

This is our go-to place for burgers. We eat in the bar, and the burgers are really great. I must admit, I have no clue about the other food, but if it is anywhere near as good as the burgers, then it too must be really great.

The ambiance was nice, which is probably why I had higher expectations. Everything else was awful and the chef should resign.1/13/24 we went for my wife’s 50th birthday and it became memorable for all the wrong reasons. We ordered pre dinner drinks. They were fine… but the empty glasses sat on the table the entire dinner. No one bothered to remove them (for over an hour). The bread was good especially the one with melted parmesan but that became the highlight of the experience. The salad was a plate of lettuce with almost nothing else except one olive and two slices of radish (for the record, we are not a family of rabbits.)The steaks were the worst I’ve ever had. They came out with the plastic indicators still in them. We all ordered medium rare and every steak was over cooked, big time. The meat was tough with no pink in the middle. My son couldn’t stop drinking water because of all the salt. You can’t taste any flavor in the meat at all. I’ve had better steaks at weddings. When they asked how everything was I mentioned it was over cooked and they said I had to look more in the middle. When I got to the middle… it was no better and the waiter was long gone, never to return. The French fries were from a bag. 5 Guys have fresher fries. As mentioned we were celebrating a life milestone and I told our waiter but the servers kept changing and there was no communication. When we ordered dessert there was no candle so we just quietly sang over a sad piece of blueberry cheesecake. When leaving - the valet opened the door and walked away. Maybe I’m old fashion but most places help the ladies into the car and close the door. All around, there was no level of detail or care. Take your business elsewhere. Perhaps Oceanos, The Saddle River Inn, Allendale Steakouse… or McDonalds.

First time they’re bad service and bad food. Second time there, shockingly terrible service, food was ok, when we finally got it. Wasn’t a matter of the place being busy- that I’m understanding of, just utter lack of care and rude behavior.
