The best Chinese food I ever ate was Jim's. I grew up on it when I was a young boy and in my early teens. I moved to Alberta in 1989 and ate in many Chinese restaurants, but I still haven't found one that could match Jim's in Baie Verte. I had Sammy's, and in my opinion, it was the second best.
Very good food and good service.

Was trying to figure out why the total seemed very high compared to the math in my head based off of the menu. Turns out menu prices did not match what we were charged on our ticket. Kids burger was actually $11.45, the beef chow mein was $26.90, and the chicken vegetable (with no rice) was $19.95. All of these dishes were much less on the actual menu I was looking at when we went there (and less what's posted here). Seems sketchy. I have also never been to a Chinese restaurant where rice didn't come with the stir fry dishes. I order this all the time from many other places (for almost half as much $) and it has always come with rice.
Got a combo 13 today, my first time ever being here and it was amazing! The rice was perfect the chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce were perfect but the egg roll was a little dry and over done but I ate it anyways drowned in sauce. The meal over all was delicious and I will for sure be back!

Really nice restaurant! I absolutely love the almond soo guy, it's fried battered chicken with almond bits, it's sooo good.If you want something a bit different, try the mushroom soo guy, it's also fried battered chicken but there's mushrooms and I think mushroom sauce? It's sooooo delicious. Also pretty much everything is so good and the display of the food is really nice, and it's usually not too busy, so if you like a more peaceful environment, this is the restaurant for you.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options available. The menu can be found online on their Facebook page.
Parking: It's a shared parking lot with a few other businesses, so depending on the popularity and time it may be a bit hard to find parking, though there's almost always spots nearby.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is on their menu, though it's a little small. Still looks good though.
Wheelchair accessibility: Has a standard wheelchair ramp, but it's not very steep compared to some other ramps so it should be relatively easy to use. I'm sure if you call in you can ask someone to help you in, they're very nice there.

Portions were small for the price to be paid. Taste and presentation of the meal was unsatisfactory.

4 hour wait for Chinese on Mother’s Day and ended up leaving without food. 2 hours of take-out leaving the building and no one eating-in getting any food. Multiple tables leaving without food.

This restaurant needs to cook their noodles more and put less sauce on there chicken balls, NOT IMPRESSED!!!!
Great food and service is good. The food here is the best Chinese food I've had and I've been to a lot of different places. By far exceeds the rest.
