I am so glad we stopped here. The visit would not have been the same without it. lThis colorful little stop is just what was needed when arriving at Bay Bulls for a tour on the O’Brien Whale and Bird Boat tour. Pretty important are the necessary rooms after a longish car ride. Then there’s the gift shop with something for everyone. And upstairs is a restaurant serving excellent fare at reasonable prices. My wife and I had tasty lobster sandwiches and our nieces had hearty fish stews. The staff were all friendly and welcoming as we found to be the case with every Newfoundlander we met. We didn’t intend to buy anything, but my wife walked off with a Labradorite ring and I found a jacket with a puffin stitched on it.

Fabulous place for lunch pre or post whale watching cruise or just because. Food was great and included Nfld traditional as well as lovely pub food. The large patio is fabulous with a lovely view. Plenty of parking.
