An amazing spot for local history and being immersed in adorable art while sipping a nice cup of coffee or a cold beer! Visited in July 2025 with my partner and enjoyed browsing the handmade mugs, stickers and art. Afterwards, we had a nice time sitting on the deck at the back of the studio watching the water with our drinks. Galliott Studios is a MUST VISIT if you are near Woody Point! Great art, friendly staff and proprietor!

Don’t make the same mistake I did, and skip this cute little gem because it looks smaller from the outside. This coffee shop is officially my favourite in Newfoundland - whoever thought of combining a coffee shop and a pottery store is a genius! Sip on delicious local coffee (all their coffee is made with beans from the Gros Morne Coffee Roaster) while you look at gorgeous hand-made pottery and prints. If you need to rest for a while, no worries! They’ve got an incredible back dock that doubles as patio space to sit and enjoy. The staff are so friendly, and the owner is clearly super talented. I’ll definitely be coming back!
