This place is just magnificent. The food is mouth-watering. The decor was awesome. The service was number one. Overall, I really enjoyed discovering this great restaurant as well as the surrounding area. It was my first trip to Newfoundland and I absolutely loved it.

We stopped in here for lunch after a hike at Tablelands. It is a lovely little restaurant and gift shop that was just emptying out from a full house of a bus tour. As soon as we got a table the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, lots of fish based choices and all very fresh and tasty. Afterwards it was nice to wander through the gift shop. A great stop in the area.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant after hiking. We were very disappointed with the service and food quality. After we ordered the food, we waited for 45 minutes but there was no food served. We were super tired and hungry, so we checked with the waitress if the food is coming or not. They replied without any apologies and just explained that because there was a big group.
Our food finally came 50 minutes after we ordered. We ordered mussels, chowder, cod and seafood lasagna. We tasted nothing other than the saltiness. We didn’t expect this taste! The cod fish tasted worse than the frozen food from the grocery store! Everything was not under our expectation. However, we were still acting politely and saying thank you to the waitress. After we finished all the food on the table, there was no one coming to collect any dishes or asking us if we needed anything else. We tried to draw the waitress attention a few times for getting the bill, but they ignored us and went to serve the guests at other tables.
Lastly, we stood up and approached the counter. The waitress saw us but ignored us again until we asked for the bill. This was the most terrible experience I have ever had! Go to this restaurant if you want to have an unhappy dining experience! I’d rather eat cup noddles than visit this restaurant.

This Place Was Great! The fisherman's platter is a must try good portions with fresh scheip scallops and cod ans for they veggie options the stir-fry was also great. The place had a strong newfound vibe to it and also had local artwork all over the walls
Vegetarian options: Stir fry was great, and there was an option to make the fries a poutine.
Dietary restrictions: They have limited gluten free options but better than none
Parking: First come, first served street parking, but you will have to walk because it is busy in the summer

Delicious. Both meals were served hot and reasonably quickly. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. There is a patio but it was too cold to sit out but if the weather is warm, sit out and admire the scenery!
