The food here was absolutely amazing, I even ordered extra food to bring home with me. I wish I knew about this place sooner, I'll definitely be going here again. The person who served us was also great!

Worth your while to pop down and have a feed. Lots to look at while you wait for your food. You might be lucky to be there on open mic night and hear live music from the locals! If you want to stay in the area and sight see for a day or two, you can take advantage of the beautiful sleep pods on site for a small fee. The owner, Alison, and her awesome serving staff always takes an interest in their customers and want to know where you're from! Chef Clint and the kitchen do a great job at serving delicious food every time! Well done, guys. I'm looking forward to my next visit.Parking: Lots of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Salt and vinegar onion rings were really good. We enjoyed the sausage platter and rib platter. Upgraded sides of loaded potato and Caesar also very good. Most things on the menu were smoked flavour (good for me!) and the reasonably large selection of draft beer was a pleasant surprise. Worth a visit!

Great tour to Burin Island. Kids loved the boat ride over and the hike along the beautiful island. We had some really good BBQ at the road house that evening! Definitely recommend if you are in this beautiful part of the province!

Hosts Mike and Lois go out of their way to help anyone. We were in an accident on our way back from Saint Pierre Michelon.Lois picked us up from Rene's auto and took us to Smugglers Cove. They showed us around their fantastic place.Since we had no vehicle, Mike booked us into Marystown hotel. Lois drove us there with all of our gear from the totaled truck and made sure we were ok.Mike called later that evening. Lois came the next morning to see if we needed anything. They are the most sincere lovely people with great stories to tell about Smugglers Cove and the history of the area.If you are anywhere in the area-be sure to stop in!Mike-Lois. Thank you so much for everything. We will not forget. We will see you next year..

For its location in Burin NL a great place for live entertainment and little cabins for rent and the restaurant serves good food the place is unique and popular people are very friendly and a great place to spend time it's to bad that the Bonevista area seems to be the place that is popular with tourist but you are missing out by not giving the Burin Peninsula a visit.Parking: No problem it's Newfoundland not Toronto.

Fabulous St Louis ribs, just out of the smoker and properly rested before serving. Smoked 1/2 chicken was perfect. Great salad, Cole slaw and baked beans with pulled pork mixed in (molasses and brown sugar baked beans, not tomato-based) out of this world. My husband had the honor of meeting the pitmaster/chef and see the smoker. Our waitress was gracious, funny and excellent. A great evening of food and conversation.Parking: Easy.

Stayed for one night in one of the pods which was absolutely beautiful. They are all overlooking a pond with a kitchen (coffee, muffins, fruit etc available) and a shower a few steps away. The venue itself is very unique. The restaurant serves great food and the service was great. Do yourself a favor if you're on the Burin Peninsula and check this place out.

I have recently been diagnosed with celiac disease and Smuggler’s Cove was the first place I’d gone. The restaurant was incredibly well versed, and catered to my needs, even though we dined later in the evening, at a time when the menu options were limited. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a lovely experience. As an added bonus, we spent the night in one of the bunkhouses on sight. It was so cozy and relaxing and clean and tidy!Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free
