Arrived late for breakfast, the waitress served us quite rapidly but forgot about us after. The food was great ( eggs and bacon) but I had to ask twice for a coffee refill.

Located in the mall and just aside to the ferry, it's a good place to start your trip in Newfoundland.

A good option if you didn’t had the chance to eat on the ferry but food was really simple and over-fried/dry :-/ Chowder was good, that was the highlight of this meal.

Food was great and so was service from our server. What I didn't like though and what took a star is that our server was a younger girl and behind the counter was an older lady who seemed to be micro managing and sort of yelling at our younger server. I don't know what the history is there, if the younger server has had a history of not being about to par but it was a bit off putting to hear this lady micro managing her so aggressively

Location & Parking: easy to find and tons of free parking. They have an entrance inside the mall and also their own entrance from the parking lot.

Service: the staff are incredibly friendly, polite, attentive, and helpful. They also clean the restaurant when they’re not serving customers.

Accessibility: the restaurant is fully accessible for wheelchairs.

Food: the halibut steak was literally the most delicious fish meal I have ever had. Everything about it… every bite was mouthwatering.

If I ever come back to Newfoundland, Alma’s will be my first stop!

The first restaurant we found on Google maps, I got a big serving of my halibut steak but preferred it grilled or bake. The veggies are frozen.

I found this breakfast place because I wanted a wholesome breakfast instead of Tim Hortons. The food was great. The bread recipe is quite unique and tastes amazing. Our waitress was really accomodating and friendly. I recommend this restaurant for those coming off the ferry in the morning and want a fantastic breakfast.

Very quaint restaurant in the mall.
Came off the ferry and wanted to experience something local. A very lovely lady with a great sense of humor and a beautiful accent served us breakfast. No complaints on the food.
