A perfect spot to get out of town for a day. I decided to extend my visit into a little break from the city. Stayed in one of their comfy rooms.
The next morning I HAD to get the full breakfast at the cafe. Once I saw the chickens on the property. Eggs were a must.
A sweet little local place. Lots of hiking near by too. Just 45 min from town. I’ll be back for more day trips or overnights for sure.

I made a reservation for myself and nine coworkers over a month in advance (called on September 12th at 10:17am for reservation on October 5th at 6pm). On the day of the reservation, I called to confirm, only to be told that my name wasn’t in their system and they had no reservation booked in my name, and they couldn’t accommodate us. As a result, all of our plans were ruined — completely unacceptable, very disappointed.
This was 1 if my favorite restaurant untill the weekend. Went there with daughter and food wasn't really edible. There was no service only time are server checked on us 20 sec into meal stopped 15 feet away from table call across room to ask how it was. They didn't listen to my answer when I was try to let know wasn't good. At end of meal I had to go get a Togo container and bill. Server just never call to the table after dropping food and the 15 foot check. As we left first words out of my daughter mouth was about how unfriendly the staff were. I'm not sure what happen to this place but fix it.

The food was delicious. Menu prices are high. My veg sandwich was expensive and a side was +$8. However, I was not disappointed. Quality ingredients and full of flavor. I was concerned that the veg sandwich had eggplant spread and not grilled eggplant but it was wonderful. I love my eggplant and thoroughly enjoyed the flavors of the spread version. It was a long wait to order for a Tuesday lunch but food wait was not as long as I had settled in and prepared for. CHARMING is how I describe the overall restaurant. The decor, entrance area, dishes, glassware, ceiling-walls-floor thoughtfully themed. I loved the oak barrels under the washroom sinks. Lots of seating (hence the 2 busy waitstaff were running constantly however VERY friendly and 5* to those nice ladies), I saw a table of 6 and 4s seated, Large patio (very clean!) and also tucked away tables if you prefer darker and cozy. Again, charmingly renovated/decor; quality food was worth the price.

We cant complain about the atmosphere the Barn is set on a beautiful piece of land that is very evident that they work hard and take pride in their establishment. The good was good with fair serving sizes however we didnt find them to be very flavorful.

Live this place. Great food and atmosphere
We enjoyed a lovely late lunch on a weekday afternoon. Both the ambiance and servers were welcoming. The prices are appropriate given the quality of the food and attention to detail. It's a shame they're not open later during the week!
I would've liked to have seen Canadian and local wines on the menu and better quality cutlery and napkins to match the attention-to-detail everywhere else.
Oh, and keep the bathroom doors closed. Nobody likes to see a toilet while they're eating.

We stopped in for a late lunch. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. There weren't many food items on the menu to choose from...a few sandwiches and salads. What we had was delicious though - turkey/cranberry/bacon sandwich on cranberry bread and Cobb salad.
