Located in the small village of Happy Adventure, this inn and its restaurant, Chucky's, enjoy a beautiful view of the small inlet in which the harbour is located. The food is very good. The service was excellent and the overall atmosphere was upscale without being pretentious.

This is our second time here and we were not disappointed. From the wonderful rooms (we also had one with a whirlpool) to the more than friendly and warm service to the restaurant with its selected good food (the kitchen is fantastic), everything is just right. A hotel in the slightly higher price range, but with a good price-performance ratio. It was the highlight of our Newfoundland tour!

Absolutely wonderful find! Food at restaurant excellent. Seafood plattter, breakfast, wine reasonably priced. Beautiful rooms with inn style decor. Service is exceptional! James excellent and managed everything from concierge to server to boat assistant. Pleasantly surprised to see what a wonderful gem hidden in Happy Adventure. We originally met them at the Outdoor adventure show and knew we had to visit. We will be back!

We stayed in a corner suite - spacious and clean room, large bathroom with shower and jacuzzi, but a little confused by the very strange old school interior design. Friendly hosts and staff, amazing bay view, room also had a big corner balcony. Wifi was fast in the lobby downstairs, but so slow in the room… We had dinner and breakfast in their restaurant - everything was delicious, great service! They also offer their guests a large selection of inshore and offshore activities, we took a boat tour and it was amazing, saw many beautiful bays, caves and rock cliffs from the water, met some puffins and a school of dolphins on our way back. Nice place to discover the beautiful area!

A beautiful place on the high shore overlooking the bay. We spend one night visiting the national park . Spacious clean room. The Internet in the room was very poor. Exciting boat tour around the area. A wonderful dinner in a good restaurant. The food was delicious.

Had a magnificent meal while taking in the beautiful of the harbor. Make a reservation so you won't be disappointed.
Rooms had a view of the harbour and were well furnished with a little outdoor patio area, food was great - we had the seafood platter and it was fresh and cooked properly and well portioned. We also had two breakfasts included which were delicious and they made a special order of toutins and molasses for us to try the local custom treat. They also tried to incorporate as much local products as possible which we appreciated. But most impressive was the service. They made us feel like family. Took the time to show us our hotel room, took their time to talk to us about the food, steered us in good directions for meal options and when we asked if we could make last minute arrangements for a boat tour James was on the phone immediately and 20 minutes later we were boarding the boat. Pete the boat captain was great , gave us a good knowledgeable tour and showed us puffins and quite a few close ups for whales. We were in town for a wedding and they also made a point of letting us know now to worry when we come back as they would stay up and wait for us until we made it back to let us in. In short this place is a gem and if you’re heading this direction it’s worth your while. The owner Charles (Chucky) only wants to make sure everyone has a great time and they went out of their way to make that happen. Hopefully we’ll make our back to this wonderful place. Thanks !! Beautiful and convenient Inn if you are in Eastport, Salvage Area. The rooms have a stunning view of the harbour and all the amenities. Chucky's restaurant was wonderful and a safe place for me to eat because I have a gluten allergy. Amazing staff and service.

Just visited the Happy Adventure Inn on a tour with 30 people. A scenic view with a fabulous food. Out of 30 people not one went away disappointed. If you’re not in the neighbourhood, go out of your way.  Awesome food and don’t forget dessert. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rooms: Very comfortable. On a tour in Newfoundland Labrador. One of the best owner operated of the bunch.
Food & drinks: Pleasantly pleased with the menu featured breakfast. Most were self serve on this tour. Nice variety, personally served.
Beautiful location, lovely room with balcony and great view. We would have liked to stay here longer. There are very nice hiking trails in the nearby area, for example from Salvage. Great breakfast, the best we had in Newfoundland. Lots of fresh fruit, delicious!
