We enjoyed our dinner and show in Ferryland. The people were very warm, the entertainers were quite good. The show was funny and you didn’t have to be a local to get the jokes! Definitely a taste of the local culture worth taking in when you’re in the area.

We were at the dinner Theater. "Pubs and Pulpits " was the show. A great laugh. Well done by local entertainers. Enjoyed the show. Roast Beef dinner, mixed vegetables, mashed turnip, mashed potatoes and gravy. Some of the roast was a bit tough and some was not. The dessert was apple crumble, a bit dry. Overall pretty good.

Shamrock Festival Saturday afternoon on the deck was great. Awesome views, good music and a great crowd made for a well deserved outing. If you're in need of any of the above then we recommend taking time to check out this venue.

Food was good, entertainment was excellent. Go early and visit the lighthouse, the archeological site, and the gift shop.

This is a great place to the local talent in this area. It’s like Saturday night live Newfoundland style. The entertainers are mostly amateurs that grew up in this area showcasing their talents and expressing the culture of Newfoundland. I can’t comment on the food because I didn’t eat here but the entertainment is great.

Purchase folk art. Bought a polar bear made from moose antler--very good artist. Many paintings and prints--sceenes depicting local outport life. A play will held on Tuesday and Wednesday. Dinner will be in conjunction with the play. Local actors.
