Great location for a stop on your drive with fabulous food and service. We stopped in for lunch while driving the Irish Loop. Service was great, and all the food was prepared fresh and hot. I’m not a seafood fan but ordered fish and chips to try it figuring if ever I was going to like it, it would be at a spot like this. And it was delicious! We were sad we were too full to order any of the delicious sounding homemade desserts.

A cute and awesome little spot with delicious food. The chowder was some of the best I've ever had anywhere, and you can tell the staff really put their heart and soul into what they do. Charlene in particular was amazing and made my friend and I feel like we were family.

What wonderful pea soup, cod tongues and desserts not to mention a fantastic waitress, Charlene. This has been the best food on our Newfoundland travels! Make sure you stop by for some fresh, local bites on your way around the Irish Loop. Don’t pass on the bread pudding and gingerbread cake. Just outstanding!

The Squid Jigger is fantastic! The seafood chowder and moose burger were both delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The beautiful patio, dart boards, pool table, bar, and little casino setup make it a fun spot. It’s clearly a local favorite!
