Stopped in for a late dinner and beer. Front of house was quite busy with only one person serving and maintaining a smile!Ordered cod and chips and onion rings...fish wasn't cooked long enough which led to the batter being a bit soggy on the inside and the fish being a little mushy.
The service at this pub was top notch - very friendly and efficient. I had a burger which was well cooked and tasty. The wine selection isn’t great, but that’s to be expected at a pub. Pretty outdated decor and kind of “cold”. The washrooms were very clean.
As a Yukon born, the hospitality of both the locals and staff was unprecedented.Gander you have a true gem within your midst.Food was great, service amazing, Gander Newfie’s are the best.Cheers
