Had the hot turkey sandwich with fries. Gravy on the sandwich and fries BIG mistake. The fries were one inch long and smaller.the plate was drowning in gravy. There was even gravy between the sandwich.there was more gravy on the plate then food. It was in the top five for worst meal I every had. The waitress never came by once to see how it was going. Left 3/4 of the meal on the plate.there was another meal hot turkey came out and they sent it back it was floating in gravy it wasn't only me. Had good meals in the pass but then I usually get cub sandwich and soup can't really mess that up.

Recommended by our hotel staff. OH had Sunday dinner, I had hot roast beef. Dinner had plenty of turkey, salt beef. Berry pudding was great. Enough on the plate for two people so had to take some home. Could have made 2 sandwiches with the pile of roast beef on my sandwich. We’ll be back for breakfast tomorrow. You won’t be disappointed. Only negative, kill the rock music.

Loved this restaurant! Great service and attentive. The waitress was funny and recommended the special. It was delicious. Roast beef dinner with pudding and salt beef. My friend had the turkey. There was so much food that I took a full take out tray home. There is a bakery here as well. We bought shortbread cookies and bread. All delicious. Try this special restaurant with a great Newfoundland menu.

Went here twice in a row- once we saw Jiggs dinner was served the next day, we came back because we had to try this new dish we never heard of before visiting NL. Food was excellent both times, love the Jiggs, its a proper Sunday dinner.
