Not bad for the location. Tried the chicken shawarma rice box. Not bad. Chicken is good, so is the garlic sauce. Rice is a shorter grain rice, more for sushi or teriyaki. Still good, just different. Smaller portion of chicken. Cabbage was good, pickles were a bit sweet. Mot the best value for almost $20, but not bad. Will come back and see how the shawarma wrap is.
Used to love eating here, have it once or twice a month. Lately it seems to be hit or miss, the wife and I just had it for supper today and the garlic sauce didn't seem to have any garlic and the chicken didn't seem seasoned at all, honestly the whole meal was bland, unfortunate because when it's done right, it's our favorite restaurant in Gander
My wife is vegetarian and found few options here. She tried the falafel, which was okay, while I tried the chicken shawarma ,it was a bit on the dry side. However, the salad they served was very fresh, and they also have kids’ options on the menu. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience better overall.
