It’s not often that every menu item looks amazing, but at Taste, we wanted to eat everything. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We had the lobster bisque, beef tartar, Seafood and Leek risotto, and the Seafood Gragada. We also had all three desserts - we couldn’t decide! While we didn’t need any dietary accommodations, the staff/chef were will to make them if needed. Views were beautiful. Best dining experience we’ve had in Newfoundland this far....
While we were attending the Writers at Woody Point Festival, four of us took the opportunity to visit “Taste”, the restaurant in the Gros Morne Inn. It is fabulous!
Before I get into the review, a couple of caveats: 1. The driveway can be a bit challenging due to the high incline and gravel surface. If you’re driving something sporty and low to the ground, you won’t make it. This is an SUV only affair. We arranged a car/taxi so not a problem. 2. BYOW...

The view is spectacular.
The service was awesome.
Our food was disappointing. $20 food at $40 price. Risotto was too salty. Chicken dish very plain. Salad was nice.
