Grand Central Pub and Eatery

Went to this place as an alternative to fast food. It was a beautiful warm and Sunny afternoon and we wanted to sit outside. Our server was quick to accommodate us, even though she said the outdoor setting wasn’t perfectly setup. It was great! Food was delicious and we were well looked after! Would recommend this restaurant!

Sat at the table for 15 minutes before walking out. The worker sat in the back the entire time on the phone and didn’t even know we were there. I can see why there’s never any vehicles in the lot, they don’t want the business. Better off going elsewhere like we did today. Both times going here have been terrible experiences.

Dietary restrictions: Great for anyone with dietary restrictions because you won’t get any food so you won’t have to worry about restriction

Stayed grand falls for a night in from st. John's, wanted to go to a local restaurant. Online says it was open at 8:30am, got there at 8:40am door was locked. Went to A&W instead because no where else is open for breakfast.

It looked so good we forgot to tske pictures! It was absolutely amazing, so fresh and home made, it felt like my mom made it!Raving positive review for the staff! We were in such a hurry and had a bunch of requests that I felt bad having to give them but they were so utterly accommodating and happy to help, the staff were upbeat and made my day! So friendly and such a huge help for me!The restaurant itself is very clean and the decor with the train is so cute, I wish we had the chance to stop and dine in, we definitely will the next time we're in the areaDefinitely 5 stars from me, I loved everything about this place :)

We wanted something to eat besides fast food when we were passing through town with our dog, so I called ahead to ask if they had outdoor seating to accommodate us. They made a special accommodation on their private back deck & sat us at a large patio table. We ordered a couple of all day breakfast options that had large portions and were priced low. The food tasted great & the service was awesome. We will definitely return on our next trip to town.

Went here for a late lunch. Was happy they had all day breakfast. Serivice was great, waitress was friendly and our food had came out hot and in a decent amount of time. The home made bread served with by breakfast was amazing, it was actually my favorite part of my breakfast. Would definitely recommend this place for breadfast!Thankyou again for the great meal!

Went there for lunch today, the atmosphere was a tourist destination in itself! The service was great and friendly, and the food... the food was just fantastic! Very reasonably priced and you won’t leave hungry! Definitely recommend stopping in for a bite here!

The first time we went there the service and food was amazing,we went there last nite and it took an hour and ten minutes to finally get our meal.My fish and chips was frozen fries and the fish batter was so over spiced I couldn’t taste the fish.My wife’s hamburger platter same thing frozen fries and her burger bun was burnt black,this definitely gets a zero rating and our last trip there.This was only our second time there.

Had New York Steak Dinner do not recommend as the steak was not grilled pan fried and taste like liver.

Long wait over hour and half. Food was mediocre . Waiting staff was very friendly though.

This restaurant is a new experience for me.I ordered fish and chips to take home from here last night. I have had bad experiences in past with other places not giving large enough portions so asked for another piece of fish to make it a 3 piece fish and chip dinner. I can only say that the only reason I did not give this 5 stars was because of the container. I just despise my food in styrofoam container. Especially if it is right on . The main meal was lined with a paper but one piece of fish in smaller styrofoam without lining.BUT this fish was INCREDIBLE. and decent portion. Fresh and beautifully battered, not heavy greasy batter. Lovely coating.Fries were perfect too.This is what NL fish and chips should be all about. Unfortunately some restaurants have not got this message, but this place has it right. I hope they never change.
