PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE TO SAY THE OWNER DEALT RESPECTFULLY, PROMPLY AND IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. IT IS ALWAYS GOOD TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE OWNERS THAT LOOK AFTER CUSTOMERS IN A FIRST RATE MANNER AS HE DID. HATS OF TO HIM AND THANK YOU I WILL TRY

Where's the meat! I had to smoked sandwich on rye which consisted of three slices of smoked meat more mustard then you can imagine; For $11.95.My wife had chicken bacon club sandwich and chicken noodle soup. The sandwich was drowned in barbecue sauce and her soup was cold looked and tasted like a can soup.We both had lattes which we're good. The waitress was friendly...The restaurant itself was cold.I must say that they did a good job taking pictures of the food but the experience does not live up to that. I would avoid this place! The quality is only a step up from McDonald's if that!

A neat little place, the food was a bit overated however. In terms of their cold foods, I get the impression that the chef is trying to do something different with a variety of different flavor profiles all mashed up but there's a difference between a harmonious variety with tastes and textures that compliment one another and just a mash up of stuff that could be good individually.

A great and unexpected find off the beaten path. According to the menu, this is where the name comes from: "Your first place is home. Your second place is work. Your third place is reserved for that special haunt where you come together with your community. Where you see familiar faces, where new ones are always accepted, and where laughter is always found. Third places enrich the human experience and contribute to a life worth living."

The food and drinks looked like they would be delicious, but the posted hours are incorrect. The posted hours on both the door of the cafe and Google state that on Saturday the cafe will be open until 8pm, but when we walked in at 2pm we were told that the cafe was closing. The staff were very friendly when they told us that the cafe was closing, but it was very frustrating because we had planned our visit to get food after visiting the Salmonoid Interpretation Centre. Had we known it was closing early then we would have gotten food before. Please update your hours on Google or post a temporary sign on the door of the cafe when the hours change so that visitors may plan accordingly. Posting on Facebook does not help tourists passing through the area.

Disappointed to say the least. Drove all the way out with a friend hoping for a coffee and a baked good and stood in the doorway only for a staff member to tell us at 2pm that they are closed for the rest of the day. They are advertising their hours as open until 8pm on Saturdays. Go figure.

So disappointed. Made this a destination as it is of the beaten path. After driving to it we were told they aren’t doing any more seatings today, (it was 2 in the afternoon), and even though the restaurant had empty tables, we were turned away. So much for making the effort to support a local

Well, this was a delightful discovery, as I searched for a place - other than that ubiquitous Canadian coffee stop - off the Trans Canada Highway near Grand Falls NL. I was a mite concerned when my GPS took me down a winding, narrow road, and over a couple of single-lane bridges. But the detour was worth it. The latte was perfect, the breakfast was just what I was craving, and to top it all off, a trail behind the restaurant led to some stunning views of the Exploits River... noted for its salmon. It was a nice break from the long drive across the island. I would definitely stop there again.

The food was amazing, 10/10 recommend the breakfast poutine. Customer service was good when waiter was present. Would definitely eat here again!

The Cafe has a great location overlooking the dam/falls. The food, Breakfast Poutine and Eggs Benedict were good. The hot drinks lacked luster for a double espresso beverage, as it tasted very milky. Brownie was to die for.

Tried the Brie & pear panini. First time eating, did not know what to expect. It was ok, I found it an interesting mix of flavours. Others said n the group ordered fish and chips. They all found the fish too greasy and were unable to finish their meal. I had the seafood chowder as well. The broth was very good, I found there were to many potatoes in relation to actual seafood.

I think this is a cute place, however it's trying to be fancy and with fancy prices however the food doesn't reflect. The pannis sounded delicious on the menu but were almost ingredient-less. I was very disappointed. Also, no kids menu.
