We return home in a week or so and decided to treat ourselves to dinner at the very popular Mamattuk. We’d been told the short ribs were excellent so after looking over the menu we both decided to go with short ribs. The only reason we’ve scored the service as 4 and not 5 is because after we’d ordered our server came back to tell us they were all out. They open at 4.30 and we were there at 4.45, so the servers should have known they were out of them and told us up front. I can only assume the communication between front of house and kitchen had failed. We chose alternatives and both our starters and mains were excellent and absolutely delicious. Definitely visit again if we return, and definitely recommend…. Just call and check they’ve got short ribs beforehand!!

By far the best restaurant in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador and I would even say one of the best in Canada! I've eaten in extremely high end restaurants across the country and this one tops them all every single dish on their menu is beyond impressive. The wait staff in this restaurant is very very experienced and well suited. It's a shame that there's only one location. This restaurant with its very fine food and very fine service is undoubtedly the best!

Was expecting a more local experience on the menu like moose, seal, ptarmigan or caribou. Instead it was more of a higher end hotel restaurant serving standard fare. Still the nicest restaurant we were at in all of Labrador.

Really great menu, excellent service and a contemporary style inside for dining. Impressive kitchen, clean, professional and well managed. Have to say it, didn't expect a quality restaurant like this in Goose Bay Happy Valley but there you go!
