It was a good experience. I had the cucumber soup and current roll sushi. Although I missed some of the old menu like the pan-fried sushi and seafood linguine (was looking for my favourites), my dining experience was still okay because of the live music
We return home in a week or so and decided to treat ourselves to dinner at the very popular Mamattuk. We’d been told the short ribs were excellent so after looking over the menu we both decided to go with short ribs. The only reason we’ve scored the service as 4 and not 5 is because after we’d ordered our server came back to tell us they were all out. They open at 4.30 and we were there at 4.45, so the servers should have known they were out of them and told us up front....
By far the best restaurant in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador and I would even say one of the best in Canada! I've eaten in extremely high end restaurants across the country and this one tops them all every single dish on their menu is beyond impressive.
