Probably the best fried codfish I have had in 30 years on the island of Newfoundland. They batter is homemade and very light slightly spicy and their fish was freshly caught and the salt water next to the community.
A nice break from the chain restaurants and much better food. The burgers were fresh and the fries were crispy. So many of the fries we've had in Newfoundland were greasy and soggy. The fried onions with the burgers were a very nice touch. It's a small place seating ten or so. The decor is clean, modern and minimal. A few pictures would help.
If you’re traveling through Newfoundland and getting a bit sick of truckstop food, don’t be discouraged by this place. Hands down best meal we have had on the roadside yet! The chicken was delicious as was the cheeseburger. Highly recommended stopping here!
