I read a review that the fish tacos were very good. I didn't even look at the menu cause fish tacos are my go-to. The previous review didn't let me down, I thoroughly enjoyed and second-recommend them. Friendly staff. They handle a very busy restaurant with smiles and order.
The Station Diner is a lovely, bright, clean, friendly, delicios Sunday (or any day of the week) drive destination! Perfectly situated at the Head of the Bay, offering spectacular views from the deck or the dining room, this diner has it all! Homemade baked goods and traditional fabourites that sell out quickly! Watch the whales, the sailboats, the sea, stroll the beach, listen to the waves, breathe in the sea air laced with homemade bread and turkey, jiggs dinner and/or pea soup!...
All of the food was fresh and hot, which made a great first impression. The chicken on the chicken burger was pleasantly crunchy and juicy, the fries were crisp and golden, and the iced tea was refreshingly good. The service was friendly and timely, everything came out quickly and the staff were great. Plus, the view overlooking the water adds a nice, relaxing touch to the whole experience. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.
